  2. Hello everyone!, I'm new in the forum, and I'm here basically for ae. Usually, before a date, someone opens a reminder. This time I do not read anything about the date of today, so I start it. I think missing two hours, so that the light goes off... actually I fear that this reminder this has no practical purpose... anyway, listening for months, almost every day, the Krakow livset, and also the Utrecht ones: I'm on the edge of the compulsive attitude, and the only thing that I can hope is that some of you, between two hours, will nourish this pathology, with a recording of the same disarming level. Ah!, if anyone is interested, there is also my recording of the Krakow's live-set, although it is low-fi as shit...: just to have another point of listening about that memorable night. For fetishists only. Thank you!
  3. So the NASA discovered that Pluto is bigger than we thought and that there is yet another earth-like planet in the Kepler system. And - believe it or not - we still don't have a proper soundtrack for our space exploration. Until now, though. This is the first of extra-terrestrial journeys from sun to the Oort Cloud featuring all your favorite electronic heroes. Enjoy your space walk.

    melt... ?

I hope with all my might that someone has a recording, we can't remember it in this way:
  5. In December we have rare and pleasant and entertaining and educating opportunity to talk with one third of Autechre and we delight to let you know that episode with him is already out on our podcast channel. http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-simply-superior-podcast/id492173397
  6. lets go way way back to 93...i think this was the first Autechre song I heard that I truely loved....really haunting strings, that semi-303 bass or whatever that is....just a great lead in to an album and what got me to realize Autechre is capable of haunting beautiful shite. I also love the transition into Bike by using that Semi-truck horn or whatever that sound effect is.
  7. Jesus fucking christ, what an amazing lineup! autechre the bug ital tek king midas sound bibio tim exile hudson mohawke http://www.festiwalnowamuzyka.pl/index.php?id=122
  8. Anyone a fan of this classic from 96? Sounds like a collaboration between Aphex Twin, Orbital and Autechre.
  9. Hello all, I'm selling off some of my Autechre records since I no longer have a need for them ( ) sadly, I'm putting these up on Ebay with starting prices as below but I will end them early if anyone wants them Incunabla repress VG+/EX £45 (Excellent copy if it wasn't for a mark at the beginning of Side C, no skips, but there is a little crackling where the mark is) Amber repress VG+/VG+ £55 (Excellent play through) Chiastic Slide original press NM/NM £30 LP5 original press VG+/VG £20 (The play through is excellent, and the sticker has fallen off but is intact, and there's rubbing on the sleeve) Confield original press VG+/EX £20 (Excellent play through) Draft 7.0 original press EX/VG+ £30 (Sleeve has some damage at the top, but nothing serious) Untilted NM/NM £60 Quaristice NM/NM £35 Oversteps VG+/EX £30 (Excellent playthrough) EP 7.1 EX/EX £20 EP 7.2 EX/EX £20 Move of Ten Part 1 NM/NM £10 Move of Ten Part 2 NM/NM £10 Exai NM/NM £35 If there are any serious enquiries, PM me, thanks. 10. ... I thought it was the next weekend, I find instead that it was the last one ... Needless to say how much it would welcome a recording ... !
  11. No idea if there ever was a thread like this, so sorry if it was. Search function still sucks. I recently stumbled upon this Merzbow track: Listen between 1:47 and 2:55 Sounds familiar? I'm surprised that the memorable sound of that track comes from a Merzbow track. I don't know if this is common knowledge around here (or "jazzband" as dey say 'round deez parts), but this is new to me. And they must really love that Merzbow record, seeing as they also made a remix from it: Now I'm curious to hear other tracks they might have sampled from. I'm not really aware of any. Enlighten me and perhaps others. Just dump every fact/speculation here.

  16. So I've owed our good friend Takeshi a mix for a few years now. Finally got around to finishing this sucker up! It's a short and sweet mix, just under 40 mins, nicely mashed, featuring Aphex Twin, Astrobotnia, Autechre, Boards of Canada, Bogdan Raczynski, Clark, Jega, Meat Beat Manifesto, Orbital, Plug, Photek, Underworld, and our very own Wisp, Tauboo, and Beak. And plenty more on top of that. And please keep in mind, no tracks were timestretched during the mixing of this set!! Tracks were captured, tagged, treated, and released with the utmost care! Break And Vilbel

I was listening to Second Bad Vilbel the other day and noticed it has a similar pace and rhythm to Break And Enter by Prodigy.. so I thought I'd try to smash them together somehow.. anyway have a listen https://soundcloud.com/pselodux/break-and-vilbel-autechre-vs-prodigy-mashup

  23. Forgive me if I am terribly late, but today I found myself listening to a collection of drum and bass remixes of Art of Noise tracks when I heard a familiar sound... here @ 2:20 Sounds very similar to the sound that begins to take shape at around 5:25 in Sublimit Have I gone mad? Did both of these artists sample another source I am unfamiliar with? Am I hearing things?
