Hey WATMM heads! Remembering the AE-Warp25-Krakow bootleg recording from 2014? Well, we went to Budapest this year capturing an all new proper bootleg from Autechre's recent OneSix tour. You can check it out and get the FLAC version here: https://archive.org/details/AutechreOneSixTour-BudapestHU-07-11-16 The recording was captured using the same zoom H2n that was used in 2014 to capture the now semi-legedary Warp25 krakow recording, which actually made quite a stir here on this forum, with all the different remixes, etc. Alumni is still around here? haha Normally, this recording was also treated afterwards in order to sound as authentic to the real experience as possible. A fun fact is that the upload of this bootleg was approved by Rob Brown. We actually managed to catch up with him inside one of the largest thermal baths in Budapest, just a few hours before the gig and had a very interesting 30-min chitchat regarding stuff such as pirate radio, bootlegs sharing and all this old school background from where they are coming basically. ;) The bootleg is also available to stream via/ YouTube SoundCloud Mixcloud Enjoy and spread the sounds around! After the mind-altering experience in Budapest's darkest depths of Akvarium Club we can certainly say that OneSix is Autechre at their most sonically complex iteration till date. Here's tonight's show at The Social recorded on a Sony ICD-SX1000 with soundman binaural mics. I'm pretty happy with the quality besides a heinous amount of audience chatter. But, man, what a night. It was as much a physical experience as an aural one, and my eyes were closed nearly the whole time. We felt shaken and assaulted walking out of the venue. It definitely sounded like Exai further explored, extraordinarily rhythmic and consistently dance-able - at least way more than I predicted it would be. Feeling it in my throat is on quite another level. Hope you guys enjoy it!
