Hello, new member here. And yes, I have read the rules, thanks for asking . I went to see Mark Fell last week, which was nice. It was a great gig in that I arrived, got me and my other half a drink, stood and watched the set, and left. I found it distracting however, because it was in Dalston and the fans were, well, Dalstonites. Plenty of leaping around trying to dance to a rhythm they weren't actually hearing, before looking around self-consciously to make sure everyone was looking. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the enthusiasm, but this was not that. I'm interested if anyone else feels this way about particular artists, and if so, who? Do you enjoy the music of somebody, but would not like to be associated with the fans?
