"Sound quality isn't great and batteries ran out about three quarters through. Shame because it ended with some of the best extreme noise I've heard him do." Click here to download this file

  3. Not sure if this is 'jazz' or not, but don't think so... Part.1 http://www.mixcloud.com/PeerPressure/plaid-warp-uk-dj-set-ppsko-2011/ Part.2 http://www.mixcloud.com/PeerPressure/plaid-dj-set-at-ppsko2011-part2/
  4. Kind of surprised to see this hasn't been posted yet. If you're into any of the "chillwave"/80s revivalist shit, this one is a must. One of the best albums of the year, IMO, and a significantly more coherent effort than his first. Who says Mexicans never produce anything worthwhile? Listening link at NPR (not positive it's still active, since the album is now out): http://www.npr.org/2...ian-era-extra-a Interview I enjoyed with the dude behind the tunes: http://pitchfork.com...64-neon-indian/

  6. So yeah, tomorrow is Record Store Day and I thought it would be nice to make a thread compiling the best stuff that's being released in this special day. Just saw on facebook that Pink Floyd are releasing a little box containing three 7"s from The Wall.
  7. http://www.archive.org/details/zrm015 All sorts of quality artists on this release, I highly suggest you go and get it!
  8. http://soundcloud.com/snugliferecords/leyland-kirby-we-have-at-last "Upcoming on a very, very limited 7" out of Tilburg on Snuglife Records."
  9. New album by Lynch and some ludicrously hot woman who I imagine is about to get very famous. Sounds like it's much the same vein as the Julee Cruise / Badalamenti / Twin Peaks stuff of the early '90s but for me at least that is not a bad thing at all. http://www.iconvsicon.com/2011/09/07/chrysta-bell-and-filmmaker-david-lynch-set-to-release-collaborative-album-this-train-on-september-29th/ http://www.chrystabell.com/
