It's a rational split-the-check division between what you'd expect out of Jimmy Edgar and Machinedrum. But....these collabos. Something in my sclerotic brain begins to shut down. I really want to believe that's it not just being white and old--they're just not that great. I can't shake the feeling that this album is more about a showcase to attract production opportunities? Dunno. Can't reach the $9.99 purchase threshold just yet although "Team Effort" slaps.
