So I did a search, and I didnt see any sort of main topic for exm or his music-- just those related to a release if he had one coming up-- so I figured id make an umbrella one for discussion on our favs of his discography, if that's alright. (btw: Riyl autechre, phoenecia, with some melodic work thrown in.) First off, Im a huge fan of the guys work, and so many of his releases have become top favorites of mine: Modulus, Overscore (+), more recently Comp, released this month (which is perfect for anyone new to his work imo), both this years self released works MMLXXVII and Odd Times are amazing as well and are definite growers, especially the prior LP. His collab releases with Mitoma are all top tier, and I constantly return to them: FF0000, I/0 Disc, and this year's E|M. Highly recommended. But my favorite of his is 2015's llmnt on Touched, which has become one of my favorite IDM albums ever. Didnt dig it much at first, but it grew on me soooooo hard, and I cant stop spinning it. Worth throwing in there-- he also made my favorite IDM song ever "Meltt", which is the epic, 15-minute closer on 2017's Modulus. If you havent heard that, definitely give it a few spins. Gorgeous song! https://touched.bandcamp.com/track/meltt Enough gushing from me though, any other big fans? Favorite albums or tracks?

Mind over MIDI - Habitat Debris If you can picture the very furthest, coldest, darkest part of Norway, that’s where Mind over MIDI resides. If you want to get an idea of what it’s like there, and can do without the frostbite, then this is the perfect solution. Helge Tømmervåg produces sweeping, icy synthscapes, with digital snowflakes since 1995. A collection of forgotten fragments, abandoned ideas, loops, alternate takes and outtakes. Recorded in 2006, mixed and arranged in 2019. Link: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/habitat-debris

Mind over MIDI 'Soft Science' EP 7" Dubplate Version is now available on Bandcamp! https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/soft-science It comes with the original picture taken by the artist himself and used for the original Album artwork. This record will be shipped around 27th April 2018. - Edition of 20 copies - Reviews: If you can picture the very furthest, coldest, darkest part of Norway, that’s where Mind over MIDI resides. If you want to get an idea of what it’s like there, and can do without the frostbite, then this is the perfect solution. Helge Tømmervåg produces sweeping, icy synthscapes, with digital snowflakes since 1995. (words by Ultimae Records) Astonishingly, it's been 22 years since Helge Tommervrag first donned the Mind Over MIDI alias. All these years on, he remains one of ambient music's most consistent performers, as this 19th album-length outing proves. Shorn of the usual self-indulgence that plagues the ambient genre, Soft Science boasts 14 short, spellbinding pieces that never outstay their welcome. Naturally, there are moments of gentle, drone-fuelled haziness, but also bold fusions of spacey melodies and ghostly chords, dystopian wind-scapes, bouts of intergalactic hypnotism and occasional nods towards zoned-out dub techno. As you'd expect, Tommervrag is an expert sound designer; it's this aspect that makes Soft Science such an intoxicating and mind-altering listen. (words by Juno Records)

Hello This is an album my group has just recently released. I want to share it with everyone here because this is a place where I found a lot of music that opened my mind to the possibilities of sound, a trait in which this group focuses on. New Herd material out on Friday on Darkfloor Sound: upload pics Ambitious and captivating; expansive, textured and unique, this is Herd’s ‘Arteater’. Since we began our record label, like the radio show and blog from which it spawned, we’ve never been just one style, one sound. And this, this record, clearly makes that apparent. Jason Thomson has since 2007, through several net based labels, worked on a multi-part series of abstract experimental electro, ambient electronica and drone soundscape material, collectively titled ‘Tangents’. ‘Arteater’ continues that vein of sonic tapestry, yet stands out on its own. Thomson’s influence is drawn from many places, most obviously that of Future Sound of London. Impressed enough were they, the duo have released material of his via their own FSOLdigital imprint. Pushing the limits of vinyl recording length we have cut close to 20 minutes a side of sound without comprising on quality. We work closely with our mastering and cutting engineers, none more so than here. We could continue writing fancy, descriptive words, but as with all our releases, we let our music do the talking, and there’s a lot to hear in this one. credits releases May 27, 2016 DRKFLR006 PREVIEW www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCElWGbc-KA Mastering - Black Monolith Studios Cover Art - Jason Thomson Art Direction + Design - makemassair Vinyl Cut - Keith Tenniswood

Any of y'all haerd of this fellow? You might have seen this video I posted awhile ago. They've got a bunch of his albums on Hacele: http://hacele.tumblr.com/lavinayelb (lil secret, Aphex Twin is on one of hacele's compilations...proof he's latin american?) It is excellent. Similar to, but not exactly like anything I've heard or seen before. His visual art is all these fascinating LSD/5-year-old looking doodles with an obscure sense of sophistication. http://laburinemuelb.tumblr.com/ I especially like this piece, it's an hour of am radio/tape saturated sounding samples slowly and steadily morphing into eachother, very trance-like. Here is a track off of a recent album: https://soundcloud.com/lavina-yelb/01-pedro-picapiedra-y-la http://www.flickr.com/photos/lalaye/

front back Dalglish - Venoyn - 12" 45rpm vinyl EP mastered by Lupo limited to 350 copies in a full color matte jacket with full color artwork. 5 tracks. note: It's very hard to convey just how awesome this artwork looks in photos which appears to be drawn using fine tipped ink pens. It is extremely detailed and only an extremely high resolution photo can capture the detail. The first ever Dalglish piece of vinyl, and the first vinyl of any Chris Douglas project since the release of 'Seimlste' in 2002 by his now deceased OST alias off Qlipothic https://soundcloud.com/fluorescentgrey/dalglish-venonyn-ep-sampler full EP sampler shipping now : http://recordlabelrecords.org/191.html

As you can see in my profile I started some years ago with experimental music mostly musique concrete based. After my first 7inch I was only working under my real name and laid my moniker Audio Architecture to rest. Today I run a small private label with a serie of split recordings on 7inch vinyl with individual artwork by each participating musician. I normally do not offer downloads as I'm a truly vinyl fetishist but these bits are all works on the previous version of my label as I was releasing selfmade CDR copies only. After cleaning out archives and data carriers I found some early stuff I would like to share with the interested. My first album "3 Skizzen" (3 sketches) was re-edited and remastered by myself in 2011 to fit in my vision of a perfect re-issue. The work with Giovanni Di Stefano was first planned as a CD but time rushed over this so it is only available on this digital format. There are also some exclusiv goodies and right after my join to WATTM I decided to give them away for free (except the picture disc ) Feel free to listen to it and save it when you like it. so here you go: http://mmlabel.bandcamp.com/
