Sorry if this isn't the right thread. My search for the right one (with my iphone) turned up zip. Anyway... I use the mobile version, not Tapatalk or whatever that is. For some reason, every time I navigate away from Safari/WATMM it signs me out. The application is still open. I don't ever close the window or sign out. That's all.

SO, uh, are they just gonna ignore 9 or is the 9 coming after the X? I thought that the X was called the X but they kept saying ten. Also, wireless charging with the charger coming next year? What?

Gotta admit, that iPhone 7 "jet black" is slicker than owl shit... Overall, what did everyone think of their announcements? Still gonna wait for the 10th Anniversary iPhone next year (LOL if it's just a 7S )

Apple announced it's latest iPhones - iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, a 5.5" "phablet", and of course, the "One more thing" was the Apple WATCH (they uppercase the name) - looks like Samsung will be shitting themselves, as Apple appears to have just ate their lunch in one fell swoop.

Apple to buy Beats Electronics/Music, Dr Dre becomes worth $800m
Guest posted a topic in Music Discussion
Dr Dre-founded Beats Electronics looks set for takeover by Apple Dr Dre's Apple deal will make him the richest man in hip-hop "Apple is closing in on a deal to buy headphone manufacturer Beats Electronics for $3.2bn (£1.88bn), it has been reported. It would be the California company's largest ever acquisition." "The rapper and producer has made headphones cool again. Now selling his stake in Beats Electronics will give Dre a personal fortune of $800m." "the good doctor is presently worth $550m. He co-founded Beats, but last year Carlyle Group acquired a minority shareholding for $500m. His present stake is thought to be somewhere between 20 and 25%. Which means? That after the sale – and after tax – Dre will be worth $800m; ahead of Diddy and Jay Z, but some way shy of his first billion."- 93 replies

Seems like some paid apps will be downloadable for free in the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the AppStore due on th 10th of July. Seems like some apps are already free. Traktor is one of them. Here are the links https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/traktor-dj-for-iphone/id625335999?mt=8 https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/traktor-dj/id592052832?mt=8 List of other paid apps that can be downloaded for free already todayhttp://www.theverge.com/2013/7/8/4502810/ios-apps-and-games-go-free-five-years-after-app-store-launched http://www.macrumors.com/2013/07/08/several-top-apps-go-free-ahead-of-app-stores-fifth-anniversary/ the question mark in the title it's just because no official statement has been made nor by Apple nor by Native instruments.

The Apple WWDC Conference Keynote just ended, and while they showed some really cool stuff (new Mac Pro, iOS7), the new version of OS X is called... Mavericks. W.T.F. Seriously. That's the best name they could come up with? It sounds like something Microsoft would name one of their products.

http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-18709232 Many of you will know that I use Apple products and think that some of their stuff is of very good quality, providing me with the best economic return (please note this does not mean other companies don't produce quality goods). I have not however been in favour of how Apple has conducted itself with regards to its last few years of overt litigiousness, especially in matters as frivolous as design patents. So I view this ruling as a very good thing.

So the buzz has become deafening that this thing will launch like in the next 90 days with a 10.5" diagonal touchscreen, support for hi def video, ebooks, app store etc etc. I'm wondering if it will run any OSX applications and if any of our beloved music artitsts who are ardent apple supporters will incorporate it into their live shows. Should be cool to see how this evolves after launch.
