I have been recording my weekly mixes I do for my college radio station. Tonight I had fun playing short tracks back to back. Played some music made by wattmers... Hey WATMM, I'm back doing a weekly radio show again on www.sub.fm This time around I'm heavily focusing on that modern UK "bass music" (115bpm-145bpm) sound, while heavily mixing in the IDM greats of the last 25 years. You'd be surprise how well classic Warp mixes with the modern stuff, almost as if dance music is just now catching up. There will also be the occasional jungle/dnb set just because. I've got some live dates coming up and figured I'd post them here in case any Watmm'ers are interested in popping out and hearing some original, IDM-infused, ultra-bassy dance music on quality soundsystems. It's in Brooklyn. It's a warehouse rave thing with the best soundsystem on the east coast (pictured here). This is a new bass music monthly that I'm a resident DJ at. No page or flyer for it yet. I took a hiatus from Sub FM to move to Atlanta. Now I am here and settled, and am going to be re-starting my show this evening. I'm in a new timeslot now, weekly at 9-11pm EST.
