  1. Hello WATMM, I'm posting this at the request of a friend: Venue: Castle In The Sky Brooklyn Ny 11211 Date Sat, 13 Nov 2021 23:00 - 04:00 Morphism NYC’s debut party brings Dallas’ Cygnus and Atlanta’s NOEYES together with NYC staples DJ Chaotic Ugly (of Machine Girl) and Mx Khalif (FKA Le1f) in the mainroom, with resident DJs Aanandi, CyberImp, Julie K and Vinton Surf at the bar stage. With two stages and hifi sound reinforcement from giri.biz, this warehouse party in Williamsburg will be serving high quality vibration alongside merch tables stocked with cool stuff. https://ra.co/events/1473389
  2. CPU reach their centenary binary catalog number with Cygnus - 100% Dope. "CPU records made a hundred wax, so much electro made across the map. CPU records with a million songs, one robot singing on the intercom. I’m so funky I can’t believe, programming synthesizers and drum machines. Join the club, we’re from outer space, making beats with computers and the funky bass." https://mailchi.mp/2ca397dfe395/cygnus-100-dope-cpu-100?e=8f67cdcbdd

  5. Quite the lineup of braindance/electro goodness and yes, that is THE David Firth (Locust Toybox)
  6. Its our 7th birthday and this is part 1 of our inter-dimensional celebration. Part 2 is in June with a Detroit legend just so you know ? Cygnus - Live (Fundamental Records / Texas-USA) Reedale Rise - Live (Frustrated Funk / Liverpool) Black Eyes (Lost Control / NTS Radio) Leon Mitternacht DJ Drakula (Lost Control) •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Cygnus - Live (Fundamental Records / Texas-USA) We've really pulled out all the stops for this one. Cygnus is one of our favourite electro producers and has got an amazing back catalogue on labels like Frustrated Funk, Central Processing Unit and Barba Records. Always pushing boundaries without copying the past. Imagine Drexcyia's cousin and you'd be halfway there. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Reedale Rise - Live (Frustrated Funk / Liverpool) Simon's album last year was our favourite of 2018. We heard it being played in Vinyl Exchange and it got purchased straight away as did his whole back catalogue a few weeks later. Also another electro producer looking to the future. His sound is a lot deeper than the headliner but don't let that fool you because he knows how to blow your head off (musically and mentally). •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Black Eyes (Lost Control / NTS Radio) NTS and Lost Control resident as well as being a 7th dimension warrior will be on duties to deliver all things out of this stratosphere. Expect the venom. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Leon Mitternacht The man who definitely doesn't play out as much as he deserves. I don't think we've ever heard a bad set by this guy. He will be closing the night off and we've been waiting a long time for him to do this for us. we won't tell you what to expect because it wouldn't do it justice. If you've seen him before, you know. If you haven't, you're in for some serious heat. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• DJ Drakula (Lost Control) Our other Lost Control resident is only new to our crew, but he will be warming up the used garage for us in true Detroit and Chicago style. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Tickets here: skiddle.com/e/13710349 £10 entry all night / There will be a few cheap earlybird tickets online too 12am-6am The White Hotel Dickinson Street Salford M3 7LW •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Listen back to our NTS show here: https://www.nts.live/shows/lost-control Cygnus music here: https://soundcloud.com/cygnus Reedale Rise music here: https://soundcloud.com/reedalerise Leon Mitternach music here: https://soundcloud.com/leon-nacht •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Phones at the door, eyes on the floor x
  7. hey guys! Good news - Machine Funk Volume 1 is now shipping in the USA! Now you can get it through Biosoft Records without the prohibitive Tax, Customs and insane shipping costs from Europe. have to get in on it though cause there are NOT VERY MANY and they will absolutely, without a single doubt, sell out very quickly Click here -----> https://cygnusat.bandcamp.com/album/machine-funk-vol-1 <------- 3x12" Vinyl records, 79 minutes of ludicrously nerdy electro & funk inspired by the 1984 comic book mini-series by Barry Windsor Smith Purchase of the Vinyl does not include a digital version! There is, currently, no digital version. Part 1 in a 4-part series! You will want to collect all of them!

  13. previews may be heard here & you can pre-order too. think this one will be out october 11th. good tracks all around, old ones . make sure you pre-order cause its going to disappear quick, super limited release "LTD ed. 12" release by new artist Cygnus. Cygnus hails from the southern US and upon listening to his music for the first time, one would think he is a distant relative of the late James Stinson of Drexciya. Cygnus’ first release came by way of the digital label, ICASEA and has received praise in experimental/IDM circles. Two of the songs featured on the digital release are presented here on this limited release showcasing the expertly crafted sound design and Detroit inspired sounds of a young talent who will surely be one to watch for in the near future. Catch Cygnus as he embarks on a North American tour with Manchester electronic pioneers, Autechre, September 24th through October 17th. " http://www.rushhour.nl/distribution_detailed.php?item=57852

  15. Dallas based artist Cygnus returns to Central Processing Unit with his fourth release for the Sheffield based future facing electro imprint with his Radical User Interfaces EP. The EP's release will coincide with Autechre’s North American tour this autumn, on which Cygnus has been announced as support joining the Warp act’s resident tour DJ Rob Hall for all 19 dates. Invoking scenes from possible intergalactic situations Cygnus runs the four track offering off bit crunched funk, machinic constructs and glistening synth work. The artwork as with all CPU releases has been created by Sheffield based design collective Human; pressed to white vinyl the record is limited to 300 copies. Artist: Cygnus Album: Radical User Interfaces [EP] Label: Central Processing Unit Cat#: CPU00011000 Formats: 12"/Digital Digital Release: 9th October 2015 Physical Release: 9th October 2015 Web: http://cpurecords.net Shop: http://shop.cpurecords.net
  16. If the DMX Krew release on the same label is anything to go by this won't exactly be cheap but as the tracks are top notch (and with the included shirt I imagine it cost a bit to produce too), I totally want one of these. Pre-orders here: [email protected] I've only just e-mailed them so haven't heard back yet. See http://fundamental-records.blogspot.com.es/p/patronen.html
