  1. Hey I'm doing a monthly hour long slot on threads* radio (they have two streams, i'm on the one with the asterisk). It's going to be electro / techno / idm and maybe some noise mixed in occasionally. First show is tomorrow, July 3 20-21 CET. I already recorded it, so here's the tracklisting for this month. And definitely message me if you want me hear your stuff and maybe play it 🙂 Tin Man - Falling Acid 4rd - 4rd J1 1C2 Tysk Raider - XOS Cool and Frank - 2 Live All in C B and R Saviero Celestri - Mental Box Thomas Heckmann - Shipwrecked Aux 88 - Time and Space XY0815 - Tool Matter Patricia - Spotting Carl Finlow - Blue Reedale Rise - And the Rain Fell Legowelt - Dumtoestand I'll follow up with mixcloud links too
  2. Some more Bippo Braindance, DrillnBass and stuff Osmosis EP including my infamous Coachella EDM girl track https://fxbip.bandcamp.com/album/osmosis And some favorite oldies free to download https://fxbip.bandcamp.com/album/brain-access-selected-2015-2016-braindance-works-volume-1
  3. A six-track EP. Lots of 808 samples and arpeggiators. The songs are most about exploring one or two ideas. The original idea was to combine electro with dub or dubtechno style pads and stabs. I think there's still some of that there too. I'm kinda happy with how this turned out. https://qualityheadprofile.bandcamp.com/album/koditon
  4. Here's a 40min live set from a show I did recently. It has tracks that I've released on Sleepers Records and Florklang and unreleased stuff I'm still tweaking and hope to find a home for soon. It was for a techno / dance monthly event in Boston called Cake Factory which is a great event run by some cool folks so anyone around here should check it out. The songs should be dancey. I've been DJing a bit and the music I've been making is just trying to get folks moving. All the mistakes are intentional 🙂
  5. 4 Track 12", Out on September 27th. Love Love Recs "Precision electro-acid house? Bass-injected rumble techno? Call it what you want, this new 12” from Si Begg perfectly shows off this legendary UK producer’s hold on sonic manipulation. Recording music since ’93, Si’s catalogue of music has always pushed the boundaries of dance movements of the day: electro, breaks, garage, bass, techno and almost everything else. With a weird and wide-ranging career that includes a 2004 Peel Session and music put out alongside Tipper and Neil Landstrumm on labels like Tresor, Fuel and Novamute, Begg has proven himself as one of the true greats of the sound. Focussing his career on TV and film in recent years has meant a slow-down in the rate of bangers making their way outside of Begg’s studio but ‘400 Million Pieces of You’ shows that they are still very much being made, and are perhaps bigger than ever in their magnitude. A side track ‘P1 Tek 2 Neu Anfang’ takes the form of a subaquatic acid monster with a bubbling urgency coursing through its veins. The Drexcyian inflection is clear as tracks ‘Elektronisch For Pleasure’ and ‘P1 Voltage 2 Repeater’ take the full plunge into a fizzing electro sea. While the trance-like ‘When We Were Young’ harks back to a more hedonistic time the robofunk grooves found on ‘400 million Pieces of You’ still sound like they’re from the future. " If you liked Acid Jeep, you should like this too. Pre-orders: https://sibegg.bandcamp.com/album/400-million-pieces-of-you
  6. couple of tunes here https://nebulaerecords.bandcamp.com/album/ic-4406 i was getting some microlith vibes and it makes sense now some info from @gated:
  7. Hi everyone, I created an account at this site just to see if someone can id the track at 26:48 in DJ Stingray's Sonic Boom mix. If someone can id that beast of a track, I would be very grateful. I've been searching on and off for ten years now. Even if you don't know the id, check the track, especially when the beat comes back in at 27:23. It's powerful. Thanks, Buckley
  8. Hi all, some of you may remember me..? I was here earliest in 2000 2001 posting tracks as forlon and later as missingsense. I've done an album on antilounge records, remixes featuring Ochre, Elektrovolt, G∆rtm∆len and Marric. Real happy how this turned out. We have tapes!
  9. Tysk Raider - Tysk Raider On Bandcamp Got thrown around these parts as fake AFX and the Tuss. Really great analog stuff.
  10. Some really nice old-school sounding dark beats from your favorite label. Skam has been killing it lately (between this and Fear Ratio). Bleep writeup: https://bleep.com/release/102442-afrodeutsche-break-before-make Break Before Make is the debut album from Manchester-based Ghanaian/Russian/German artist AFRODEUTSCHE. A shining example of Skam Records doing what they do best, delivering some of the North of England's finest industrial leaning electro. Currently holding down a regular must check NTS show and in recent years performed live on bills alongside some of Detroit's finest, Dopplereffekt and C2. AFRODEUTSCHE's debut album arrives in low key style via the legendary Northern powerhouse Skam. Musically, Break Before Make builds bridges between the Detroit techno and electro cornerstones of influence, yet this is music that views the motor city and Manchester in a similar way to the early Modern Love x Basic Channel Berlin connex. Parallels are drawn between the vast open landscapes of the spaces between both the D and MCR with a cold selection of funky radar bleep techno pulses. Beamed in with a joint love of UR, Drexciya and Mills but also the more electronic end of Factory Records, Marcus Intalex's deep liquid DNB and the early trouble at mill material of Pendle Coven and Andy Stott's Unknown Exception. Break Before Make is a killer debut album form a name we are sure to be seeing more of in the future, for now, let's keep our fingers crossed for some vinyl on this one...
  11. New electro from Charlie Fracture’s Astrophonica released 26/7/19. Pretty sure it’s an alias of Fracture himself. Cant seem to embed the bandcamp on my mobile but this is really great stuff. https://client03.bandcamp.com/album/hope-repeater
  12. From Clone.nl: "Machine Funk... 79 unrelenting minutes of cybernetic electro-funk. A dense collection of experimental compositions and synthetic, man-machine beauty created by Cygnus which fuse with the dance-floor to perfection. Inspired by the miniseries ''Machine Man'', 1984's classic comic created by Barry Windsor-Smith. Comes in a high quality gate-fold sleeve, where you can find and read the story behind Machine Funk, along with the lyrics of each track. As usual with Fundamental Records; limited and no re-press!" Order directly from Fundamental Records: [email protected] Order from Clone Records: https://clone.nl Really excited to get this one out to you guys. Make sure you get a copy because there will never be a re-press!

  14. I've just been listening to a lot of 90's Richard H Kirk stuff. I wasn't really into it much when it came out, oddly, but now it's really sounding great. So I was pleased to see this set, none of which I had. There's also an 8cd set of his stuff from 74-89, all more industrial/experimental. I like the 90's stuff better, but I know the earlier material will appeal more to some. Read a funny review from a more industrial minded dude who totally trashed the Sandoz stuff here: http://thequietus.com/articles/21537-richard-h-kirk-sandoz-box-set-album-review-cabaret-voltaire But I figured this board might lean more towards Sandoz, as I do. From Mute: 'Sandoz – #9294 (Collected Works 1992 – 1994) is a 5-CD box set, the box includes the 2CD Digital Lifeforms (Redux), the longtime unavailable and newly re-mastered Intensely Radioactive and Dark Continent albums and an album of rarities Runs The Voodoo Down.' Signed copies here, didn't see this before I got it. https://www.musicglue.com/richardhkirk/
  15. https://solaronemusic.bandcamp.com/ SolarOneMusic and The Exaltics are once again back with a special project on a special format. After their really dark and experimental „Das Heise Experiment 2“ album, now The Exaltics strike back with 2 dancefloor killers in their own sound and world. A side starts with an eerie intro whilst the second track takes no prisoners with his pumping bassline and eerie strings. The flip side has something really special to come up, Egyptian Lover is on the mic! Together with The Exaltics he really pushes the track forward and for sure this one will be burn down some dance floors around the world! Every record comes with a download code. The outer contour of the picture is also the contour of the record and makes this release to something really special and to a high collectable item https://soundcloud.com/solar_one_music/the-exaltics-feat-egyptian-lover-exodus-ep

  18. Collected a bunch of my tracks into a one-time easy download! Next batch of new tunes will be on vinyl so sorta just making a chapter here, but I think this works as an album. Actually kinda neat to hear them all together like this. All very bassy braindance electro, sorta like I'm trying to make this one song I have in mind and then... you know... https://coolandfrank.bandcamp.com/album/my-brooklyn-dad-winter-coat Maybe this is a LAME PLOY, but I'll send you a download code if you tweet the album or probably if you just PM me and ask :)
  19. Someone else already posted this in the "new releases" section, but I hope it's still allowed for me (being the artist) to post it here by myself? If it isn't the mods can delete it Imagine: a tad sad song about love-that-could-have-been disguised as an acid-track sung in a probably incomprehensable language (Dutch) by a way too happy vocoder-voice over a bouncy electrobeat.... What's missing? That's right: a hand-drawn videoclip! So here you have it. Released today for your pleasure (or whatever emotion it triggers). I added subtitles in pretty bad English but it should be enough to understand the lyrics Limited edition 7" available through 030303 Records, Clone Records and selected recordstores worldwide A-side: Binarizer - Ik Zag Je Dansen B-side: Splitradix - Cross connection

  21. I did this by doing live arps into my PSS-480 I quite like the way the middle section turned out, with all the keyboard bleeps floating out of place of each-other. https://soundcloud.com/sam-schofield-30158062 This definitely feels more me than anything ive put online b4 so hear goes. If more of this: How could it be better?

  25. baransu - Noise Is Space (EP 7")
 link: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/noise-is-space
Noise Is Space is an experiment that wants to bring up the behavior of human perception thought different kinds of sounds and atmospheres. The evolution of the video/visuals, is the process that wants to reproduce on a visible layer the directory of the sound elements. Here no borders or genders, the time doesn’t have any importance, because the unique important element is the space. The noise is the sound object that represents and expresses the condition of absence of perimeters. Ambient atmospheres and open synths combined to minimal techno influence, dirty and noisy, are indeed some kind of elements that drive emotions in defined parameters. The massive difference between perimeters and parameters, is that perimeters consist in the absence of walls and defined forms, while parameters, that are made of the sound elements, are the tools to built a wide space. “Seas are space, spacecrafts are tools”. The presence of imaginary landscapes and visual installations are complementary to all the work, exactly like “the other half of the opera”.
