https://phonoghosts.bandcamp.com/ Available in Digital, 45RPM 12", and Cassette. Phono Ghosts returns with ‘Photons in Fashion’ featuring eight new tracks of intricately spliced tape samples, continuing the psychedelic eclectic sound that marked out his previous releases on Fonolith (Solar Dream Reel) and Skam (Chrome Position). Over 30 minutes, ‘Photons in Fashion’ careers between the forceful ‘80s digi-funk blast of ‘Cassential’, space-lounge groove of ‘Binary Dynamics’ and hypnotic disco of the title track; progressing through to the brooding ‘Dramakai’ and slinky fretless

Phono Ghosts and Sferro team up for the searching synthwave of Alive in the Timeless Void, five original tracks coming backed with a remix from BOC fave Odd Nosdam, pressed to a limited ‘ocean blue’ cassette tape and available upfront now ahead of its general release in 2018. Like all Fonolith releases, Alive in the Timeless Void sounds like it could be the soundtrack from some sort of '80s b-movie, badly dubbed visuals soundtracked by some series of experiments being undertaken on the sort of gear that made John Carpenter's visual and audio adventures so timeless. With Sferro in the studio

1. Beat 'em 2. Deflatine Dance 3. Cool is Bunk 4. Escape from South Shore 5. Ear Candy for Egoists 6. Referential Zombie 7. Bomb the '80s http://meatbingo.bandcamp.com/ This release supposedly comes from Neil Scriven, close friend of fellow nostalgic samplist VHS Head. I'm becoming a big fan of the sound the Blackpool boys are creating. The release date says 2010, but I definitely haven't crossed this before in my travels so maybe it has only been posted recently...

A lot of the time taken up was the extensive sampling that's scattered throughout the tracks - a lot of this stuff was created quickly(obviously), and as a result some of the tracks used preset drum patterns, as it was assum
