  1. So I just picked this album up (for 5 bucks at a local record shop) and holy shit, it's awesome! I've heard it talked about here and there, but this deserves much more attention than it gets! It's fucking great. Why the hell do they not have any other stuff really? Why the hell aren't they mentioned more?
  2. Downtempo hauntology meets BoCish stylings. Recommended.
  3. Funky experimental electronics and beat excursions. Recommended.
  4. Generative and modular weirdness from the artist also known as Proswell. Recommended.
  5. Interesting collaboration and a set of varied tracks. Recommended.
  6. @Stickfigger and i wrote some music together and it's out now on Schematic: https://schematicmusiccompany.bandcamp.com/album/radials
  7. So in my recent fiending for new Phoenecia tunes, I decided to email Romulo and ask him if there was anything on the horizon. He graciously replied to me and send me this bandcamp link: https://sudswapaudiobrewing.bandcamp.com/album/words-within-warlords He also said he was cool with me sharing this hidden alias with you all — so I am! This here is a beat tape from another dimension. Or in his words: Swamp relics and odd funk fossils unearthed from the virtual everglades of South Florida.
  8. A luminary within Cairo's experimental music scene, Onsy, is back with a new collab project with his friend Rami. Schematic put out a fantastic iddems throwback LP by Onsy last year, Freq255 so this promises to be similarly high quality: Get it here: https://augsmatic-diaspore.bandcamp.com/album/0n4b-dots-augsmatic-diaspore-ad007 Preview track: [bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=2563474460 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small track=3470160918]
  9. This just came out on Schematic a day or two ago and it is solid! Classic iddems sounds (apparently made by a fellow from Cairo). 01 - Freq001 02 - 1994 03 - Cutoff V3 04 - Crack Cake 05 - Freq009 06 - Vetamine K 07 - Nnone Here's one of the tracks, on the album as 'Cutoff V3': Available for stream/purchase here: https://schematicmusiccompany.bandcamp.com/album/freq-255
  10. I'd never heard of this guy before, but came across one of his tracks "Corvus" from his forthcoming album and it's seriously impressive stuff. I can definitely hear an Autechre influence with a bit of a hip hop vibe and long form sound exploration. The other track released from the album reminds me a bit of AFX, but I think this is all sounding pretty exciting and fresh. I'm eagerly anticipating this album coming out in June, and if the rest lives up to the tracks released so far we could be looking at something special indeed! Check it out and see what you think: http://sylkougai.com/
  11. "There’s really no stopping the Funcken brothers. As Don steps back for a breather, Roel forges forward and keeps the family name and reputation intact. Jumping on-board the mighty Schematic ship this time, Roel dives into both known and unknown environments on Mercury Retrograde."
