  2. WATMM... I am pleased, after so many years of community comp tracks, to present to you my debut EP - 'Adapteras': 4 tracks of material that I think will resonate with you all! There're fast moments, slow moments, emotional bipolarity, even a harsh noise section! I crammed it ALL in just for you! Here is the first track 'Chronophobe (Ver)', my attempt at making a 'Power-Enya' piece! I think it succeeds! Linked on YouTube since the Bandcamp player doesn't seem to embed on WATMM anymore. Adapteras EP is available to you as a digital download and as a cassette of which there are 50 copies! They sound great and were dubbed by WATMM's own SPD: How can you resist? ... You cannot and should not even attempt to resist! Grab it here >>> https://atavisticspasmrecords.bandcamp.com/album/adapteras-ep P.S. - I am joining SEEFEEL on their November US tour as an opening act at select dates and will be selling cassettes at the shows I open at which include the following: Santa Ana - Nov 1st - https://bit.ly/2MXaiRn San Francisco - Nov 5th - https://bit.ly/2JspMdG Portland - Nov 7th - https://bit.ly/2qUaM29 Seattle - Nov 8th - https://bit.ly/2WjXQhD Vancouver - Nov 9th - https://bit.ly/348jnfD Brooklyn (possibly) - Nov 14th - https://bit.ly/2BSmYSY

  7. This new EP (more of a mini LP at 43 minutes) by Japan's Ametsub is just beautiful! He makes heavy use of the Mbira instrument as the title would suggest. Out now on Nothings66 Records. There's also a brilliant remix by Seefeel on here. You can grab it on CD from here: http://www.nothings66.com/n66ep001.html Digitally available on Amazon/Juno and probably others after the 7th of July. Tracklisting: 1. Mbr / Northbound 2. 8. Mark Clifford (Seefeel) & Scott Gordon's (Loops Haunt) collaborative project 'Oto Hiax' releases its eponymous, debut LP today on Editions Mego: Listen to track 'Eses Mitre' from the LP: Purchase 2xLP here: http://editionsmego.com/release/EMEGO-234 Purchase digitally here: https://editionsmego.bandcamp.com/album/s-t Editions Mego is proud to present the first full length release from Oto Hiax. Comprised of Mark Clifford (Seefeel) and Scott Gordon (Loops Haunt) ‘title’ follows on from last years acclaimed EP ‘One’. Embracing a series of sonic opposites ‘title’ employs electronic and concrete sound to construct a labyrinth of moods sliding from basic repetition to complex audio suites. The mood is such that the listener is advised to embrace the unexpected as unusual elements gently drift across the audio plane. Exquisitely executed, this is no foray into generic sound design but a rich and complex ruse whereby seemingly jarring sonic elements play out a subtle and harmonious bridge between a variety of musical styles and genres. Insh carries the kind of hallowed kraut comfort that only seasoned professionals can harness whereas Eses Mitre disorientates in the most enticing fashion. Oto Hiax have produced an album of exquisite detail and beauty. Now is their time.
  9. Seefeel have some live dates coming up in some very cold places! Doing a new audio/visual live set. I saw them testing it out at 21 RPM back in September and it was immense and beautiful in spite of a power outage to the stage during their last track. They are working as a duo at the moment but I spoke with them after the show and they mentioned bringing Daren, the original bassist, back into the fold for some upcoming shows. Here are the dates, starting this Friday in Berlin: Berlin DE 25/11/16 Tix: http://www.koka36.de/seefeel_ticket_75458.html Info: https://www.facebook.com/events/1024628814324016/ Moscow RU 26/11/16 Tix: https://centermars.timepad.ru/event/391348/ Info: https://www.facebook.com/events/1845746272321397/ Copenhagen DK 02/12/16 Tix: https://billetto.dk/en/events/untitled-leeks-seefeel-badun-ap-iazu/tickets Info: https://www.facebook.com/events/1516469791712760/ Aarhus DK 03/12/16 Info: https://www.facebook.com/events/1076655379117913/

  11. Hey WATMMites. I periodically make megamixes out of music I like, and I think many of you may enjoy these; multiple tracks or portions of tracks are layered over one another to recontextualise well known music or to create new tracks all together! here is the latest one I've put together: Sometimes these are more strictly themed, such as this 'All Aphex Soundcloud Dump' set I put together early last year: I've uploaded 7 so far which you can hear at the following link if you wish: https://www.mixcloud.com/Sweguno/ Enjoy!
  12. Scott Gordon, otherwise known as 'Loops Haunt', and Seefeel frontman Mark Clifford have a new collab project called 'OTO HIAX'. Their debut EP will be out September 14th. Not sure what format or label though. I suppose we'll know soon enough. Here is a preview for the first EP (there will be 2 EPs released eventually): https://soundcloud.com/otohiax/ep-1-previews Tracklisting: 1: Roaming Fold 2: Migrator 3: Lark 4: Sleeplocks
  13. Having a baby surely reduces time for DJ mixes. So it took me a while this time to get things together. But here we go! Floor Excursions VIII (Follow The Waters) is literally following the global water cycle from beginning to end (which is the beginning again). The mix is a circular motion fitting the tracks in places along the journey, reflecting the respective state & dynamics of water. Furthermore, the mix only contains records I have bought in 2013 (though not all of them). Enjoy the swimming!
  14. Netlabel Audioscope have recently put out a Benefit compilation called 'Music For A Good Home 3'. All proceeds benefit Shelter, the UK's largest Homelessness charity: Available for purchase here: http://bit.ly/1sTBqBQ The Seefeel track is pretty great, haven't listened to much else yet as I just finished DLing it from Bandcamp.
  15. http://warp.net/records/releases/seefeel/faults the sample didn't interest me at first until it started progressing a bit.
