  1. https://special-request.bandcamp.com/album/belief-system 23 tracks that meander between scuffed techno fodder, abstract jungle artillery, and behemoth ambient tones First proper album-like release since Modern Warfare, but much more balanced. Some tracks are direct callbacks to that sound, like Sanctuary, Make It Real, and Brainstorm, but he gets a bit more experimental with Leviathan and Replicant. All flavors of techno here too, with the brooding Catacombs, the over-stimulated Curtain Twitcher, the naive Tiresias, and the aptly-named Scrambled in LS1. The part that personally surprised me was how actually good the ambient stuff is, right from the warm and triumphant opening Chrysalis (which i keep thinking sounds like a reprise of New Seeds) to the warning calls of Transmission. Reckoning sounds straight out of a contemporary action film. In Loving Memory ends the album on a surprisingly human note, despite the overall cold outer shell of the two-hour record You could call the whole thing badly navigated and overly broad in its genres, but i think it's a really impressive piece from Paul Woolford, showcasing masterful ability even sometimes at the expense of coherence Highly recommended
  2. https://specialrequest187.bandcamp.com/album/zero-fucks Cause it needs it’s own thread. Paul done well this year. Thanks for the heads up, Species.

  4. Title track I'd imagine many of us have heard, from the Zero Fucks album from last year. https://specialrequest187.bandcamp.com/album/spectral-frequency Bleep's exclusive splatter vinyl is also pretty tasty: https://bleep.com/release/194205-special-request-spectral-frequency-ep
  5. Album 3 out of 4 (for 2019 anyway). Releasing October 11th Pre-order: https://special-request.bandcamp.com/album/offworld Single:
  6. https://special-request.bandcamp.com/ The summer of Special Request continues. This time, Paul uncovers lost tracks from his archive. This is gonna be good.
  7. https://special-request.bandcamp.com/album/vortex "Are you alright, m8?" Love most all Paul's stuff, but he really has hit a creative renaissance the past few years. Loved the epic Belief System album -- and now it seems this is the first of four new albums to drop very soon. Really digging the vibes on the preview track here and expect big things to come...
  8. It's not an AFX dump...but these tracks are pretty tight. Just wanted to give you all a heads up. https://soundcloud.com/paulwoolford
