In the merchandise section of the AE_STORE website, one of the items they had for sale (before it sold out) was a screen print based on the artwork for elseq. Here is the blurb, emphasis in boldface mine: "AS PART OF TDR™'S 30 BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS THEY HAVE PRODUCED A VERY LIMITED EDITION TDR™ elseq 1 – 21 PRINT, WHICH COMPILES ALL OF THE TDR™ DESIGNED BUNDLE AND TRACK ARTWORK FOR THE DIGITAL RELEASES, UNAVAILABLE AS A COMPLETE SET ELSEWHERE." https://autechre.bleepstores.com/merch/74580-the-designers-republic-ae-elseq-1-21-tdr-86-16 This seems to suggest that there may be future installments of elseq ahead! Perhaps some of the sounds we've been hearing in the live sets of their one-six tour!

Some of you are probably too young to remember, but back in the late 70's early 80's there was an awesome science magazine called OMNI that really fueled the imaginations of many young (and not so young) readers with it's futuristic images, ideas, and presentation. Sadly, it died in the early 90's just as the internet began to take shape and thrive, but one man has bought all the assets and artwork from the Guccione estate and has revived it online in blog form: http://omnireboot.com/ Anybody remember OMNI?

so my old man he just got a new hearing implant. it's under development but working quite well. monophonic (not in the least cos his left channel got fked). it's a BAHA, demo of their latest model. they drilled a hole in his skull and fitted the thingy on it. he can put 2.5 and 3.5mm jacks in it. listen to audio input directly to his cochlear system. the future?

water will soon be a commodity more precious than petroleum and maybe more precious then gold in our not to far future? the fact that human beings are 70+ % water is important to take into consideration what type of water do you drink? have you ever gathered your own water? have you ever become sick from water you have ingested? what do you know about water? do you care about the water you drink? do you have a water filter? shower filter? the quality of water in the world is not what it used to be http://www.rainharve...e-worlds-water/ http://www.thedailyb...ld-s-water.html

I was thinking just now, as I stared out the window at some newspaper boxes, that some things I've seen all my life will eventually just disappear. Like cigarette machines or restaurant-brand ashtrays... As tablet and e-ink devices approach disposable price levels, it seems inevitable we'll just stop seeing these one day: And further down the line, as battery and solar technology advances, perhaps these will disappear, as well... What else?
