  1. Has he left Warp? His latest single and TV score have been self released even though the last Panthers, an album in the same style, was on warp. In this interview here: https://truantsblog.com/2019/truancy-volume-247-clark/ it says: "Following an expansive discography of LPs on Warp from 2001 to 2017" Does that mean he doesn't release on the label anymore? I hope not but I'd still follow him of course. An argument against it would be that he is still listed in the active artists section on warp.net PS. Lol to this text color.
  2. Speedy J aka Jochem Paap aka other things too i think opened up a Bandcamp. i think much or all of this was available elsewhere but he's also got a pretty decent discount on the whole lot. from the page: i'm interested because someone here or on the notchatmm Discord turned me on to this release which i'm finally going to purchase: https://speedyj.bandcamp.com/album/vrs-mbnt-pcs-9598-ii track two is the key one, great shit. anyway thought others might be interested perhaps
  3. 22 new tracks, a CD box set some EPs and reissues of their classic works all releasing May 14th! This is amazing news. pre-order all of it on https://seefeel.warp.net/ or https://seefeel.bandcamp.com/

  5. new album. vinyl and special vinyl and CD and digital vinyls. out in April. https://bleep.com/release/178616-lorenzo-senni-scacco-matto
  6. http://pointnever.com http://pointnever.com http://pointnever.com MISSHAPEN BRAIN OF KRONOS WHOSE MOUTH IS SHAPED LIKE ANUS WHOSE SKIN IS SLIMY ONYX WHOSE GOD IS RUST INSIDE US It's happening?
  7. Artist : EXM Title: Modulus Label: Touched Music Cat no: TM36 Format: CD/Digital Country: U.K. Artwork: Style: IDM/Electronica Release Date 21.July.17 Well well well, if it isn’t exm again. This prolific artist has a multitude of self-released EPs under his belt and returns once more for his fourth contribution to Touched with music of fantastic quality. Each track piques your interest, every sound feels like it has a purpose and my are their lots of sounds. This release isn’t just generous in terms of style but at a shade under 90 minutes I don’t think anyone could complain that they weren’t being looked after. The opening of ’Modulus’ is sinister. ’3i2’ puts you on edge and alerts you to the presence of the next nines track lined up, a piece that wouldn’t sound out of place in the most epic of science fiction. Even the first sound’s pacing is so perfect I could loop it and be satisfied. But I don’t need to. Waiting for me is a barrage of noise all seemingly in its place and well thought out by the composer. Some of it is illusory - ’Wall’ has a pace that appears to increase whilst not actually doing so. If I didn’t have an anchor to the real world in the form of tapping feet I might certainly be lost. As a midpoint, ’5’ is a masterpiece - it’s an earworm. Its melody cohesive, at 9 minutes in length it still doesn’t feel long enough. And it’s a turning point too, the second half of ‘Modulus’ feels takes a robotic tone, like you’re stuck in an automated factory but you don’t really care about getting out, satisfied with the rhythmic beat of machines you are faced with. This is as good as any electronic music I’ve heard. It shows there are those out there who really care about their art, who want to push boundaries and challenge those who listen to it. I had previously compared exm to other great masters Autechre and their influence still shows however it feels more distant now. A place has been found by exm, he's carving out his niche and it's incredibly enjoyable. ‘Modulus’ is available as a limited run of CDs and as always a digital download (with bonus track ‘Meltt’) which is also provided to those who make a physical purchase from the Touched Bandcamp site. So show your support once more for Touched and get something great in return. Buy - https://touched.bandcamp.com/album/modulus
  8. So, Finally There's some "official" info coming out on this... DJ Magazine this month has a feature on Global Communication which includes this little tidbit:
  9. Legit introduction? Thoughts? Anywhoo props for including the Buck Tick remix, definition of timeless. Those negative edge bass drums... mmmmh!
  10. New album out now. https://hudsonmohawke.bandcamp.com/album/b-b-h-e
  11. Well... June 5th https://bleep.com/release/187980-jockstrap-wicked-city
  12. https://www.facebook.com/bedroomresearch/ Simon Pyke is one of my all time favorite music makers. Have loved his work since the earliest releases on Worm Interface, Skam, and Warp. Seems like he is returning very soon for one final curtain call under this moniker. As usual, artwork designed by his brother, Matt (ex-Designers Republic). I am beyond excited to get some new music from one of the masters.

  16. Don't know anything about these people other than that they are now signed to Warp records. They released a single:
  17. Warp. Out on Nov. 12th https://tng.ht/release/145053-tnght-ii
  18. https://bleep.com/wxaxrxp-sessions
  19. Nobody is talking about this, it wasn't mentioned or announced anywhere and this track debuted in his warp30 mix. This remixnisnfucking amazing seriously!
  20. https://seagrave.bandcamp.com/album/tape-transport-1994-2000 New old material from one of my favorite underrated Warp artists. Tracks from the same era as Car Paint Scheme...yum. This is a great little collection for any fans of instrumental hip hop/graf scene. (now where's my new PBO?)
  21. New remix for Maru. It's lush.
  22. I read that somewhere - maybe here, I don't know. (I'm new here (hi)) If that is in fact true, which songs from this commercially-released album were sourced from mp3s? That sounds incredibly lazy and I find it very hard to believe. Was that just a rumor?
  23. let me take you back for a moment: https://web.archive.org/web/20070105192457/http://www.warprecords.com/ i remember seeing warprecords.com in its old glory for the first time back in the early 2000s on my friend's computer screen. it was really a piece of art at the time i thought. how creative and colorful, with the _amazing_ logo animation and inventive layout system. looking at it now, i still think the same. think about all the nice websites that are forgotten every time somebody needs to "modernize". really glad archive.org exists and of course, the creators, the designers republic (still rolling with flash-based websites) http://www.thedesignersrepublic.com http://www.pho-ku.com/ do you miss the old?
  24. 20 years young! A familiar sight in either the Warp or general Compilations racks of your local friendly record store, it was a solid selection of tunes that still holds up nicely, 20 years on from its original release. Definitely worth taking a few moments to appreciate and enjoy. We Are Reasonable People WAP100 CD | 3xLP 29/06/1998 01. Squarepusher/AFX - Freeman Hardy & Willis Acid 02.
