  1. https://cagedelement.bandcamp.com/ I've collected some mixes I've done from the last few years and started to release them under the name Caged Element. This will be the name I use for my main output now. There might be one more Concealed Sequence release at some point. It's nothing amazing. Minimal Techno/ Ambient/ Dark Techno styles. Here's the first few of what I'm calling the Inside series. Single tracks will be released every so often with a compilation at the end, which will include some bonus tracks. A full length album will follow. 😊
  2. Already mentioned here, but deserves more attention; deep harmonic vignettes I hope would last longer, but. Recommended.
  3. Noticed that there aren't really any JC-L threads on here so I thought I'd make one cause I find his music absolutely mesmerising (his In Summer EP and Songs of Forgiveness album in particular). - Does anyone have any his physicals or has anyone been to one of his shows?
  4. Another great addition to the Room40 catalogue that dropped earlier this month. Worth checking out if you like Lawrence English or Taylor Deupree.
  5. For 2023, and for the 40th year of Illusion of Safety's existence, the project's progenitor Daniel Burke invited Arvo Zylo to work with him in putting together a new release. This entailed going through several hours of audio and deciding whether or not it could be useful, either as source material or finished product, but also included certain "treatments" from Zylo, in the process of deciding what was finalized. Burke says: "I worked diligently with Arvo compiling and mixing the best material available, distilling the modes and methods I've been using for some years: field recordings, electronics, electro-acoustic, and synthesis. Some of the raw materials are my first recordings with the Eurorack modular synthesizer dating back to 2010, and were used in the collaboration with Shen Wei Dance Arts for our performance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art NYC on 6-6-11."
  6. Hi all. I realized music that sounds like spiritual, etheric ambient glitch/techno is the type of music that my mind resonates with the most. Some examples might be Oval, Vladislav Delay, SND, Visible Cloaks, Huerco S., etc. Do you know something similar? Can be visuals too. https://www.webdesignmuseum.org/flash-websites/sixstation-2002
  7. New ambient-leaning album from Marco Repetto. Highly recommended.
  8. http://boomkat.com/vinyl/711645-the-caretaker-persistent-repetition-an-empty-bliss-patience-3lp-set-coloured-vinyl "*Three Caretaker Albums - each packaged individually, sold as a set* The three classic Caretaker albums - 'Persistent Repetition Of Phrases', 'An empty bliss beyond this World' and 'Patience (After Sebald)' have all been long out-of print. They have now been re-pressed on coloured vinyl available to buy separately or as a set. Please note that this set does not include any extra material or packaging - it is just the three separate LP's sent together. The albums also include instant MP3 downloads dropped into your account on purchase - whether bought separately or as a set." I couldn't resist/know there will be interest here for this hence why I posted.
  9. Massive 35 track V/A compilation from artists known and unknown, a virtual smorgasbord of various electronics. PWYW, highly recommended.
  10. Dub Tractor's new album kicks off the 10 year celebration of Touched Music, almost minimal melodic synthwork and ambience, great for comedown Sundays. Highly recommended.
  11. Ambient goodness from Arovane. Recommended.
  12. New Simon Scott album coming 20th of January 2023. A site study of the nature reserves that formed the basis of his 2012 album, Below Sea Level, on 12k. Ioved both the album and accompanying book. Very much looking forward to this.
  13. Fantastic new album from synth aficionado Ambidextrous. Highly recommended.
  14. Tasty synthbient album from the electro producer. Recommended.
  15. A new aAirial album on Florida's EC Underground; piano, electronics, contemporary classical. Recommended.
  16. Synth-driven IDM, Bot1500's first album of ambient and emotive electronics on AD93's offshoot Lith Dolina. Highly recommended, RIYL Rival Consoles.
  17. Hi all, Back to making music... here's two new tracks (one original and one remix). Enjoy! # 1 (made for a video for this exhibition: http://www.fashionspacegallery.com/exhibition/warpaint_mcqueen/) # 2 (Out in June via the Touched Two Remix compilation)
  18. Fresh versions/remixes of original tracks from the 2005 album w/ extra material, also available on vinyl. Highly recommended.
  19. A wintery mix that starts with some chilled out vibes from Dean Hurley & Romance and Oren Ambarchi, then quickly ramps it's way up into some, jungle vibes, wicked beats, drums and bass galore before winding back down with some laid-back beats.
  20. Horizon painting ambient w/ beat-spiced melodic adventures. Highly recommended.
  21. Synth-driven downtempo electronics. Recommended.
  22. Deep dreaming synthwork with languid beats and prithee melodies. Recommended.
