  2. Acidphakist/Carrierwave just tipped me off to these. Rumor has it they are being debuted at Music Messe 2013. Still as yet unconfirmed: Matrix Synth

  7. Just bought this and its fucking amazing!! can create microtuning, custom tunings for either sodtsynth or hardware with MIDI so easily DIRECTLY IN DAW!!! http://www.tallkite.com/alt-tuner.html Alt-tuner is a DAW plug-in that retunes almost every midi keyboard or softsynth. It runs on PCs, macs and Linux/Wine machines. Click here to buy it. Alt-tuner combines ease of use with powerful capabilities: Recreate historical tunings like pythagorean, meantone and well-temperaments. Stretch your piano tuning -- create your own Railsback curves. Explore ethnic tunings like Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Indian and Indonesian. Investigate experimental tunings like 22 notes to the octave. Or just use the adaptive just intonation feature to make "normal" music sound smoother! You don't need to know tuning theory to get started. Well-chosen defaults get you playing right away. Alt-tuner is novice-friendly and encourages "stumbling onto" new tunings. Alt-tuner uses a graphical point-and-click interface, making it very easy to explore. You're moving sliders and clicking on things, not typing in commands and numbers. Alt-tuner is to other tuning software like Windows is to MS-DOS. However as you explore alt-tuner, many advanced mathematical concepts are demonstrated in a way that can be immediately seen and heard. The manual even includes a 120-page primer on tuning theory (read the outline here). Alt-tuner is so easy to use that it doubles as an educational tool!
  8. Some new melancholic tunes https://fxbip.bandcamp.com/album/langueurs
  9. https://bandcamp.com/EmbeddedPlayer/album=275138183/size=medium/ Dunk Murphy (Sunken Foal, Ambulance) just released a full-length of improvised analogue hardware jams recorded to tape. It's beatless ambient, so a bit different from his earlier catalogue. I do love his beat programming, but this album is still very engaging without it.
  10. Richard is selling one of his massive Korg PS-3300 synths in the auction I run. If you click on the link you'll see the description & six pics, and at the bottom right of the sixth is a tiny but cool pic of him in front of his three (soon to be two) PS-3200s. I'll attach a bit bigger version here. http://www.spheremusic.com/Bargaindtl.asp?Item=16241 In the same auction is a ton of stuff from Somadril aka Martyn McNelis who was a good friend & associate of Richard and the then rephlex crew. It includes lots of his gear, and a few things which have his recordings on/in. For instance http://www.spheremusic.com/Bargaindtl.asp?Item=15714 which is a minidisc recorder with material on, There's also his entire CD collection inc lots of rephlex & his personal copy of Syro. 200 CDs http://www.spheremusic.com/Bargaindtl.asp?Item=15718 The money goes to his mum, and Richard was very keen to help her out. So anything you like the look of .. please bid.
  11. Hello, so I'm having a clear out of some gear that I'm really not using any more. Am trying to fund the purchase of a new Macbook, and can't justify just buying one without at least having a bit of a clear out of some kit... Will be sad to see it go, and I've had fun with the Volcas and Blofeld. A lot of what I have has now been superceded by my recent modular purchase however (especially the Volcas)... actually probably most gutted to sell the Blofeld as I have upgraded it with the Don Solaris Analog Voltage pack and don't feel I ever really explored it enough. Oh well, roll with the punches I say. Listings below: Roland A-300 MIDI Controller: http://r.ebay.com/Lov8eF Kawai XS-1: http://r.ebay.com/HyNJ8p Waldorf Blofeld (with Don Solaris Analog Voltage Pack): http://r.ebay.com/aQLRCU Korg Volca Beats: http://r.ebay.com/XbCegw Korg Volca Bass: http://r.ebay.com/jQKWFO Korg Volca Keys: http://r.ebay.com/k0xJ0C
  12. Hello! I just finished a new album i'm very excited to share with you. It was composed mostly on analogue synths and drum machines, with a few samples scattered about. http://dollarstorekeyboard.bandcamp.com/album/mood-replacer
  13. Aftaerks Acid still posts here under the 'Amen Warrior' tag. Has been hammering out solid tunes for a few years now. Analogue loveliness. Check it out ! Debut EP on Hyperchamber Music from Nathan Firman aka Aftawerks. Following on from his track 'Girl" which featured on Giles Peterson's Brownswood label, we've been dying to get a release from him so here it is. 4 tracks of the most distinctive and upbeat acid-based bangers you've heard in a while. Think braindance/IDM from the Rephlex camp, only a helluva lot more fun! Very talented producer indeed and we're extremely to have him on board. You can find some of his other music here: https://soundcloud.com/nathan_firman https://twitter.com/Aftawerks Artwork by Ed Davis www.visual-play.tumblr.com/ Mastered by Sandy Finlayson www.sandyfinlayson.com/mastering/ released 30 August 2013 http://hyperchambermusic.bandcamp.com/album/uncool-fill-ep

  17. Made these track years ago for school and found the .xrns's recently and thought I'd share :). Cheers.
  18. this is the latest of my old albums i've been sticking up on bandcamp. some say it's my least accessible, some say it's their favorite. either way, it's free now ! this album was originally put up on Install as the label's debut release. 4 years later and it's still my latest album as i haven't really done anything since. hopefully, that changes this year. thanks for looking / listening.
