  1. One of my favorite albums this year, Orange Milk alum and now signed to DFA Records, this Boston band is underrated as hell imo compared to some other indie acts. Really great songwriting, lyrics and weird but catchy tunes. You can tell they've evolved/matured a lot as a band without compromising on their avant-garde and experimental minded ethos. https://guerillatoss.bandcamp.com/album/gt-ultra They also put out a dub version by Jay Glass Dubs, a producer who take old school classic dub techniques but with newer equipment and music. Kind of similar to Ekoplekz. Jay Glass Dubs Versus Guerilla Toss https://bokehversions.bandcamp.com/album/jay-glass-dubs-vs-guerilla-toss Really neat remix album - reminds of the Massive Attack versus Mad Professor classic. This is even more deconstructed and injected with original rhythms and sequencing though imo.
  2. New album from myself. I worked very hard on it and I am very pleased with it. Hopefully some of you here will dig it. It is available on Cd and download (of course) https://skink.bandcamp.com/album/distant-pale-horses You can hear a track with some visual accompaniment too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHjvmVy3aw0
  3. http://haunteddisco.com/album/enter-through-the-exit hey folks! This is my first post here. I mostly frequent the reddit /r/WATMM but only just now found out there's a full on forum. Anywho, here's an album I've been working on for the past month or so. It's my first ever LP, so it's a pretty neat milestone for me. I'm pretty new to the world of producing so this was very much a big learning process for me, but it turned out being fun as hell to make. It draws close comparisons to the likes of radiohead, flying lotus, mum, etc. I'd love some critiques on the production work, since that's what I'm most freaked about. Everything I know about producing is me studying J Dilla and Madlib's beats and trying very very hard to achieve the similar warm/thick texture those two are so good at creating. Other than that there's not much training in the field, so it's all just been experimenting. Anywho, hope you guys like it!
