I've been listening to his stuff since like 15 years now, and I never ever met someone who knew about him, he seems totally off the radar. i've been doing a quick search on watmm but found nothing related to him here (maybe i'm wrong !! ) I did not checked it out since a few years and I just saw he still releases stuff. you can download for free tons of their early stuff on the https://padk-rad.com the style switched a bit from eclectic lo-fi electro to more soft tech/house oriented stuff since around 2010, when 2 of the 3 original band member left. in the old releases, check out "401K-RAD", "UTLTY", "T12 CD", "coldwentmodem"

Something pretty spontaneous that came out of a slower track. 100 bpm. Reason10 for arrangement. oZone for stem mastering/effects. Just recently captured the _phuqr moniker. Been into the pulverized kick drums a lot lately, swingin around n the pan pot n what not. Track might get louder with more processing. This concept has been in development since 2015 with over 200 minutes running time. The debut album from renegade trio Mutant Dance Beat (Traxx aka Melvin Oliphant, Beau Wanzer and Steve Summers) takes the wild and free sound of Chicago’s Music Box era into the 21st Century. Over twenty-five tracks the album mines an oft cited but rarely understood ground at the intersection of Post-Punk, Minimal Wave, Industrial, Disco Dub, EBM and proto-House / early-House. “Mutant Dance Beat.” is an epic journey into a classic American ideology that had its apex in Chicago. Helioscence #Bandcamp page launch! This is my first official independent musical release. This is a two track e.p. in the genre of hardcore dance with elements of dub and electronica. Inspiration strikes at surprising moments, when the light bulb flashes, the rest is history. The creation of this track was a mixture of pitfalls requiring tedious compositional revisions to harmonious, inconceivable synchronicities. Even now I feel there was never a real sense of resolve with this piece, at some point I just had to stop and let it go... Hey everybody, I directed a documentary/music video series about 7 artists collaborating for the first time on a road trip around Iceland. Soundtrack scored and curated by Deru, who came along and took field recordings there.
