  1. Dub Tractor's new album kicks off the 10 year celebration of Touched Music, almost minimal melodic synthwork and ambience, great for comedown Sundays. Highly recommended.
  2. Post long ambient vids here. Stuff I can put on my tv while I'm reading or dicking about. I have these two so far There's also a subreddit called /r/slowtv but it's mostly irl things like train journeys. I'd like more abstract ones also
  3. More meditative atmospheric ambience with glitchy percussion overlays from Data Rebel, recommended for staring into space. Check out the rest of Howe's discography, too, while you're at it.
  4. Here are some links to my single Petals in Bloom. New album coming soon. Hope you enjoy. https://music.apple.com/us/album/petals-in-bloom/1518911383?i=1518911386 https://open.spotify.com/album/0nadcZCVcTEyYTpUmho9NG?si=TRwEOnGmSuWsjHhBJopAxw
  5. A six-track EP. Lots of 808 samples and arpeggiators. The songs are most about exploring one or two ideas. The original idea was to combine electro with dub or dubtechno style pads and stabs. I think there's still some of that there too. I'm kinda happy with how this turned out. https://qualityheadprofile.bandcamp.com/album/koditon
  6. Been super inspired by my latest gear acquisation, Empress Effects ZOIA, and happened to make an IDM/LoFi vibed track. This is exactly what I always hope, when I buy anything new, that it would inspire me to also create something new (from my perspective). Main melodies using synths made in ZOIA, also some effects by ZOIA. Inspiring little device. ?
  7. Greetings again, Another song off upcoming EP, much more chilled and down-tempo than the last couple was a live take done with the Zaquencer while testing it out, cut down the length

  11. https://soundcloud.com/happycream/mono-no-aware I had a lot of trouble getting this to work! Because of the thumping bass drum noise was clipping way over the limit, but then the chords would drown it out. What I ended up doing was creating three different mixdowns, one with a focus on the crispy "drum" sounds, the other more on the chords, and the third on the bass frequencies. Then sort of upping the ideal parts of each I got this. But I felt ever in danger of clipping! I used a compressor mostly as a limiter but I really don't understand compressors. Every time I use them they pump up all the wrong things. What do you think? All my music these days sounds super quiet on most speakers because i don't really use compressors. But I like there to be dramatic dynamic variation with the track.
  12. this one was a journey in making. https://soundcloud.com/mylamine/mylamine-aeterna
  13. Here's a new track that has more of a groove/danceable parts than most of my other stuff I think. As always, comments, criticisms, feelings...all are valid and welcome. Thank you for listening and using some of your precious attention on my creation! https://soundcloud.com/lawrencelawrence/droen Here is the description I added to Soundcloud: "This song has a weight to it. Not that it's putting weight on you. More like it's carrying your weight for you, but still siting right on top of you so you can feel the pressure of your own weight as an outside presence would. Being able to let go of your weight is a truly transcendent moment. It is other-worldly and rare. I hope this can lift a little of that for you."
  14. Hi there. So, I've been making electronic music for some years now and I've been experimenting with different styles and so on... And I still keep experienting. Anyway mostly I tend to something techno-ish or similar but I did a bit of experimenting with samples I recorded from random tv-shows and put some lazy beats over them. So here's a tune called "Hierophant": https://soundcloud.com/thiefinger/hierophant ps. I'm aware that as I just joined this forum and I'm already posting my own music here so it might seem like I'm just promoting myself here but I try to comment and listen to other peoples stuff as much as I can!
  15. I've been trying to squeeze an idea out of my head for the past week and I'm finally getting somewhere. https://soundcloud.com/brendyman/sketch29_a It's still very much a work in progress, but any feedback is appreciated!
  16. I have been known to make more ambient pieces, but as of recently, I have been expanding my sound palette. I have been working on a few group projects with some artists, which in turn has just progress my own sounds and ideas. So here are a few new tracks, I think some might like. More Chill-Tech-Glitch is what I would call it, but You can use whatever you like. http://soundcloud.com/stolenlogic/into-dark http://soundcloud.com/stolenlogic/repetition I hope you enjoy, and Its a free download if you do. Thank you! Thank you!
  17. White Delta Records and Sanex Music presents: Dise - Good morning [WDR029] Style: Chill out/ Trip Hop/ Downtempo Tracks: Waterfall/ Summer Breathe/ Odessa and more You can listen and buy it here:: Beatport Stompy Apple iTunes Amazon.com Thank you for your support!
  18. In the spirit of Tycho, Boards of Canda, and many others, here is my 2013 single "Dial" from my EP entitled "Temple Analog." I would love to get feedback, on either side, so as to help my next album! https://soundcloud.com/camden-moser Tack! Dial.mp3
  19. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/63542389/ice-Main-4.mp3 A simple little jam I've been playing with. I found a way to change the key of every instrument at once, so what you hear is all live playing with presets. :) Enjoy.
  20. Hey everyone. I released a track again this week. This one is shorter than previous releases, but it makes up for it. I think the upbeat listeners will like this more than my general ambient feeling. Give it a try if you feel like hearing some new music. http://soundcloud.com/stolenlogic/to-the-sky Thank you for the listen and I hope you enjoy
  21. http://boomkat.com/d...hings-that-fade Diskotopia has been releasing some good stuff this year, but this one has percolated to the top. I haven't heard anything this classy in a very long time. I just ordered the japanese CD from juno, and including shipping to the US it was quite the bargain. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bWzaEWuv_g and you thought the future failed... shame. here is a great era-comparison track i found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSGLnBArNUY&feature=related

  23. Hello all. I am just dropping by to let anyone who is a fan of ambient/lounge music, to check out my new ep "July". It is a half hour long, 9-Track ep, with a feature from Echoraum. It is a chill mix, starting and ending with mellow tones, over flowing bass, while maintaining a steady new flow of music. Nothing that will become boring to listen to. the Links are in my signature, and I hope you enjoy the music.
