  1. Deepchord's 14th album released on Soma, accompanied by two EP releases (clips from Extraits 1 and Extraits 2 on Juno). Not really my thing, but might of interest to some.
  2. Four dubby, atmospheric techno dancefloor tracks from Boris Bunnik (aka Versalife if you're into electro). Highly recommended.
  3. Dreamy and druggy dub techno, reminds me a bit of actress and vladislav delay really enjoying this release ❤️ check it out Vol. 2 by Topdown Dialectic

  8. https://dasdreieck.bandcamp.com/album/sloika New one from one of my favorite (super-underrated) producers. Sloika presents some of the darkest and most techno oriented Dasdreieck music released as of yet. Modular drones, hypnotic kicks and dubbed out basslines mix with Dasdreieck's trademark psychedelic sound design and IDM influences.Expect a blend of organic and industrial sounds in 8 spaced-out, heady pieces of independent electronic music. Whether blissing out on headphones or cranking up the soundsystem, Sloika is sure to appeal to fans of 90s electronica and foward-thinking dub aficionados.
  9. 22 euro + shipping https://www.ebay.it/itm/273863826662 El Choop - Origin (10" Vinyl - Lathe Cut) original release: https://odrexmusic.bandcamp.com/album/origin-lathe-cut-edition-1st-cut Edition of 20 copies.
  10. [2x12" Gatefold LP / Limited edition CD / Digital - Spring/Summer 2018] [Silent Season] --- Lost In A Sea Of Trees was a brilliant album from last year, and I'm over the moon that a) new Wanderwelle, and b) Silent Season are putting stuff out again so soon, as I'm certain they were meant to be on hiatus for the foreseeable future. Previews sound awesome, will be grabbing this in a heartbeat.
  11. Babe Roots Feat. IXM 'Dub Sessions 1' Link: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/dub-sessions-1 Limited 7″ press – dubwise from the depths – The Sardinian ROHS! imprint based in Berlin, has cut two killer dubs from the depths of Babe Roots studio, served up in DIY style and fashion on a very limited vinyl-only run. First up, is the Rhythm & Sound inspired ‘Jah Nuh Dub’ trodding in the lower regions of the sonic spectrum, submerged in bassline and distilled dubwise etiquette, with the filtered chords sprawling across the underbelly in the slow envelope of bass and drum, meditatively. On the other side, is the real gem (if you ask us) – ‘Bless Dub’ is a monstrously deep version of The Revolutionaries classic ‘Kunta Kinte’. This rhythm has been versioned a lot already, but Babe Roots interpretation is justified in it’s sense for deep soundsystem aesthetic, with a much more introspective yet equally uplifting edge… This one could also make some pretty serious vibrations on a big speaker – Beware.
  12. Mono Peninsula 'Tired Dub' Album Link: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/tired-dub „Tired Dub” is the result of many tired late night sessions by Austrian artist Mono Peninsula (Herwig Holzmann). Tasty vintage-touch ambient dub atmospheres.
  13. Warmth - Ash (Album) A timeless album by ROHS! Link: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/ash
  14. A limited edition CD mini album Italian duo Tears Of Change featuring a range of all-star cameos, Figure runs the techno gauntlet in the finest way possible. Everything is covered from Hatti Vatti's fractured beat twist of "Figure" to the warm dubby bounces of the brilliantly titled "Magic Marmalade" via the hip-slinking jack of "New Life". Finally New York's finest pharmacist Brendon Moeller joins to help tell the final chapter with a pensive suspense piece where the drums are not what they seem. Change: don't fear... Shed a tear. Link: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/figure (tape/cd/digital)
  15. Xoki 'Akasha' Album LINK: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/akasha Akasha is the new free-form concept album by the Swedish Copenhagen based-artist Zoran Todorovic (Xoki). Free-form as in not being build by a tight scheduled series of preplanned events. Free-form as in avoiding sharply defined and anticipated timbral elements. "The goal was to work with free flowing energy using various methods and space, to make room for the existence of extended tonal structeres". Akasha is a collection of deep, liquid pieces created in realtime by interaction with custom made tone generators and modulators.
  16. Dub Affairs Vol.2 ROHS! Records' first Dub Affairs compilation won the hearts and minds of many dub techno devotees when it appeared back in 2015. This second volume follows a similar blueprint - think scratchy dub techno, drone-encrusted ambient dub and spacey, intergalactic compositions - and is every bit as essential as its predecessor. Highlights include the fluttering melody lines, ultra-deep sub bass and broken rhythms of Gulls' "Inside Way (Version)", the dreamy, slow and low shuffle of "Caligari's Dub" by Bademah, and the exotic, up-tempo dub-tronica of Ondarituale's vocal number "I Segreti Di Una Generazione Di Mezzo". Best of all, though, is arguably Mystica Tribe's "The Bells", a positively loved-up trip into global dub fusion. Link: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/dub-affairs-vol-2
  17. Aura Fresh 'Beyond The Five Senses' Album Link: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/beyond-the-five-senses-album Since being released on an ultra-limited pressing of 50 CD-Rs back in 2015, Aura Fresh's Beyond The Five Senses album has been changing hands for significant sums online. This has prompted Rohs! Records to give the set the reissue treatment, this time manufacturing more than enough copies to go round. The set remains one of the most impressive dub techno albums of recent times, with Aura Fresh moving from deep space ambience (see superb opener "Beyond The Five Senses") to the Rhythm & Sound headiness of "Eazy", via a string of fine dub techno workouts. Laden with Echospace style surface noise, ocean-deep basslines and trippy, locked-in grooves, it's a set that will entertain and relax you in equal measure.
  18. Shifting rhythms and pulsing tectonics from ROHS! headquarters Live From Unknown is the 3rd album from Sardinian born musician Andrea Porcu. Built with analog gear, the sound is emotive and expansive. Not easy to slot into one style or another, it's a true example of dub laden techno music. Link digital release https://andreaporcumusician.bandcamp.com/album/live-from-unknown-album The Wire Magazine (review): Andrea Porcu Live From Unknown PDXINDUBTING! DL/MC Little is known about Andrea Porcu, whose aliases include No Politics and Whacky, other than he is Sardinian born, currently based in Berlin and, since late 2007, has been running an under the radar label via Bandcamp called ROHS!. The music it has released in all formats falls mainly in a deep dubtech vein. Best known artists in the roster are Xoki & Hieronymus, who were recently on ZamZam Records out of Oregon. Another figure worth investigating is Desove – Polish musician Pawel Granacky – for his Cruising album from last year. The prevailing sounds on the label are related to but much less beat-laden than Chain Reaction. Ambient washes are prevalent and percussion sounds more muffled; but this new one from Andrea Porcu himself is much more reggae dub centred, and it perhaps best relates to some of the shorter, more focussed outings of Stephen Hitchell in his Intrusion guise, it’s that impressive. “Roll Haze” even sounds whimsically jump up, with a repeated sax line intervention quoting “Get Up, Stand Up”. But the moodiest track is “Leaving Chichibabin”. Carrying a clear dread sound, it’s really in need of a deep cut direct to vinyl.
  19. ‘FIGURE’ Tears Of Change feat. Brendon Moeller, Hatti Vatti and Merv. Link: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/figure
A limited edition Cassette / CD mini album Italian duo Tears Of Change featuring a range of all-star cameos, Figure runs the techno gauntlet in the finest way possible.

  20. Mind Over Midi - Soft Science (CD) Link: https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com/album/soft-science If you can picture the very furthest, coldest, darkest part of Norway, that’s where Mind over MIDI resides. If you want to get an idea of what it’s like there, and can do without the frostbite, then this is the perfect solution. Helge Tømmervåg produces sweeping, icy synthscapes, with digital snowflakes since 1995. *just to know, this guys has worked with Biosphere and Tikiman in 90’s.

  22. Really, really deep sound, reverb and echo used gratuitously but meticulously. What I like about it is how it's still very much in vein of classic dub and not as rooted in dub techno. No 4/4 thud work outs but more like a take on reggae dub with focus on the method and not the source material...very little use of stereotypical Jamaican dub sound effects, instruments, vocals, etc. https://bokehversions.bandcamp.com/album/new-teeth-for-an-old-country also on Boomkat. he's put out some other great records this year too though this is the most recent and a good intro Cassette sold out though I myself found out about it after the fact as well.
