what happened to this blog? this guy was one of the last few trusted hip-hop writers in these dark times. found a website under his name still running but his old blog was an archive of amazing old interviews and rare gems. I remember seeing that video of busdriver on blind date on there. also made me aware of classics like these;

Slightly different to the Watmm music but still close to its legacy. Run-DMC in the early 1980s was old school electro at its best. Charging hardcore battle rhymes over naked 808 beats, they simply changed the rap game in 1984. So it's time to reminisce over 30 years of Run, DMC & Jam-Master Jay (R.I.P.). Enjoy the short trip.

I was surprised to not see a thread for this: perhaps that's why I hadn't heard about the release 'til a few days ago, though it's been out for nearly a month. I'm honestly not sure how many folks on wattumz are into this sort of stuff, but there's a few at least so yeah. https://paydromartinez.bandcamp.com/album/zuu This one seems slightly less chop/cut than the last, but is equally off-center and sample heavy.
