Thought this might be of interest to some on here. Worth looking at in the sense of it's something different, though I'm not sure it's something I'd take to using much, if ever. http://www.theverge.com/2015/9/8/9275011/alda-musical-command-line-notation Is the story I came across. And the main Alda site: http://daveyarwood.github.io/alda/2015/09/05/alda-a-manifesto-and-gentle-introduction/
just found this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPzNfjO7r9k Its working quite nicely so far. As the dude says, he made it for fun... its obviously not as seemless as the Philip Glass score. Mostly old tracks, Amber and Incunabula... but its nice to hear a bit of Oversteps
(so I've only posted here a few times, mainly around the BOC TH release hype, but wanted to share this now-) I made this album across May/June this year, inspired by an art-book I released in March entitled Real World. Im not great at explaining, so here it is - http://danieldarko.bandcamp.com/album/dark-blue-pulse-2 and you can find music videos for some of the tracks here; http://www.youtube.com/user/danielcoxphotog/videos (my other links are in my signature)
