Proud to announce my next work and first label release, Sleep Cycle on the rather wonderful Berlin-based Inner Space Travels label. 5 tracks each inspired by the 5 stages of sleep, with each stage encoded with frequencies that complement the brain's natural state in each phase of sleep. All pitches, delay times and tempos have been carefully calculated to also sit within the corresponding brainwave ranges. In addition, the length of each stage mirrors the average amount of time we spend in each stage of sleep during an average 90 min sleep cycle. Out 29th July on digital and C9

The podcast is here and it's one of the most wtf things i've ever heard. it's like someone connected Ira Glass to a Markov chain generator, or maybe hours of one of those bad lip reading videos. here's an mp3 of the most recent one - skip about 10 minutes in. listening to it gives me a mild feeling of what having a stroke must feel like. there's a typically excellent new yorker article here.

My latest slumbr album, Hibernate, is finally out! Clocking in at 5 hours, it's a BEAST! This has easily been the biggest project of mine to date and it's a dream come true to see it finalized. It's a real labor of love, dedicated to all the fans who have listened to and supported slumbr over the years. You can stream and get it HERE! You can also read a review of my debut album here.

i generally sleep rather well, but at odd times of the day or night depending on the other things that r going on. i really like to take short naps in the day and sometimes after dark. i like the warm cuddle feelings and ecstasy stretches after naps and the different types of dreams that occur during the more skimpy, driftings through sleep. i'm curious how others sleep. do u have trouble sleeping? do u sleep well with others? what side of the bed do u prefer? one leg in, one leg out of covers? do u like to snack before getting to bed or sleep on an empty stomach? ear plugs? do u like soft

LISTEN/DOWNLOAD The enigmatic slumbr creature continues its journey, delving darker and deeper as it goes. The focus is on a hypnotic and subconscious sound for somnambulists, but there are some twists and turns to satisfy the patient ambient aficionado... Or inspire unusual dreams. In case you missed the last release, here it is. Stay sleepy-
