goa Progressive Anarchists - La Laguna Negra
Progressive Anarchists posted a topic in EKT New Releases
Artist: Progressive Anarchists Title: La Laguna Negra Type: EP Style tags: goa, trance, postrock Media type: CD, Digital Label: not on label about this release It has been over four years since we released our album West Meets East. So it is time for another physical release. Our new EP 'La Laguna Negra' comes with two tracks merging the typical 1990s Goa sound with post rock. The first idea was to re-arrange the tracks to get a playing time which matches the size of a 7-inch vinyl single. But the current waiting times to get a vinyl release pressed are too long and the prices have increased too much. For this reason, we decided to release this EP physically on CD containing the tracks in their full length. The CD is available exclusively on Bandcamp as a limited edition of 55 (only 45 of them are offered). The digital release is also available on all major download and streaming platforms. We hope you enjoy it. how to get The digital version of this album is available on the most popular streaming and download platforms like Spotify, Deezer or Tidal but the album can also be listened for free on Soundcloud. The CD release may be ordered at bandcamp. about Progressive Anarchists Progressive Anarchists is an electronic music project from Germany. Our mission is to produce music that combines Chillgressive and Postrock in a progressive flow to occupy oneself. We use rare sounds which are sometimes played in an uncommon way using MIDI-enabled guitars and electronic breath controllers. credits Artwork: Ursula Zepter http://www.atelier-13.de/ Mastering: Mike Gruszin http://www.ellues.com/ weblinks www.progressive-anarchists.org Soundcloud Discogs Spotify Deezer itunes if you like to support us Add any of our songs to public playlists, play them at your podcasts, write a feedback. -

Third album from Kebu, Finland's gift to synth wizardry; following in the footsteps of synthesizer greats, Sebastian Teir works only with hardware in the studio and live on stage, actually playing his instruments and not just sequencing them. Highly recommended.

So basically the american EDM revolution of the 2010's is powered by a super-refined formula of dutch progressive trance. It's pretty awful. But it had to start somewhere. I've looked a little into it and it seems that trance kind of evolved out of electronic kosmische krautrock meeting disco beats. Some of you must know what the good trance was all about. Educate me. I mean I can easily do it myself, but I'd like to see what gems ooze out of the woodwork...wait why would gems ooze out of the woodwork? That doesn't make any sense. I'm guessing this is some good old guard trance

https://dieorakel.bandcamp.com/album/western-arrogance Absolutely luuuuush new extended ep from a dude I just discovered today. Tranced out, breakbeat driven, IDM at its finest. Seems he has a lot more out there. Color me interested.

The 3rd installment of my "...While You Can" series. This time a bit more of a house side of things, but with a flavour of trance I guess. Maschine MK3, Digitakt, Minilogue, Reface DX + various effects. Arrangement, production, mixing and mastering in Cubase. https://soundcloud.com/user-394274214/sets/while-you-can-3

Been lately super inspired to create more of a dancefloor oriented material. Planning on releasing these as two or three track releases. Here are the first two of them. Hope you guys dig 'em. ?

Hi everyone! Glad to be a part of the proceedings here, the forum looks much nicer as a member! I'm from Melbourne in Oz and have been producing all sorts of computer music for over ten years. Check it out here: http://richhipstermusic.bandcamp.com I hate to cry poor, but I'm unemployed and broke at this point in time, so any purchases are greatly appreciated! Also, I found it quite odd that 'Richard David James' wasn't accepted as Aphex Twin's real name during signup. Haha. Edit: feel free to poke fun at that 'drubass' tag! All the best, Chris.

Hi everyone I thought you might want to listen to my latest track, which is a mashup of trance, electro house, dubstep, but it's main influence is techno: https://soundcloud.com/thestepper/unexpectations If you could please give some feedback, that would be very much appreciated, especially as I'm making a new deep house track at the moment. Thanks for your time Ross

No other musician and DJ has contributed to so much happiness in the heart of the average person. We need someone to inspire everybody to keep struggling through the hardship and the mess. We need someone like Tiesto. The greatest DJ to ever grace the planet Earth.

Hey all, This is basically my first try at something a little darker / more ambient sounding. I realize it still isn't all that dark, but the transition from what I'm used to has been a little challenging. That's why I'm looking for any constructive criticism I can run with when I'm finishing up the track. Thanks for listening :) http://soundcloud.com/jeffallenct/new-ambient-ideas

http://soundcloud.com/quinnhanratty/goa-trance-mix Some of my favorite goa tracks mixed together. I think maybe 5% of goa trance is good, and this is it. I wanted to hear these tracks without skipping through the beginnings/endings of each track. I can understand if people think goa trance is annoying music. I agree. But at the same time I think it has some parallels with IDM by pushing the technical aspect of the music. This mix starts out more mellow before really getting into it. The first track reminds me of detroit techno but it is on a goa trance album. The second track, also on a goa album, has an electro vibe. after that it is doofdoofdoof all the way til the end. Attention was paid to overall pacing and smooth transitions so I feel it is good enough to share. 1. Blue Planet Corporation - Roma 2. Electric Universe - Visiting Venus 3.
