I grew up playing the DK Country games so that was a blast from the past. Also love the music video for Excavation. The software I use for 99% of it is OBS Studio. I use a display capture as a source to create the feedback loops. I captured the game footage and vhs tapes using real hardware and a cheap capture device called Dazzle. I also sometimes use a program called Shotcut for editing and additional effects.
