unfortunately Autechre are not well known enough so there's like a %20 chance of this ever happening

i think it’s artists’ choice to master it with atmos or not though i’m not entirely sure

I have heard it in action, it's pretty mindblowing how they can make sounds zip around all over the place.  Autechre in there would be immense.

I know lols but I unironically love this song and when I listened to it in headphones, there's actually quite a bit of stereo thought put into the song. His dry vocals are definitely upfront but the reverbs and other treatments are doing fun things left and right. When he says "I still hear the echoes....*echoes*", it does sound eerily "behind" you. I would never have normally talked about this hahaha
