I totally disagree about Modenet. This track is really chill and inventive. Whether a struggling, unsigned electronic artist could have made it is irrelevant to me. (I am a struggling, unsigned electronic artist, perhaps deservedly though 🙂)

I like the album but it didn't end up wowing me at all. It sounds like Plaid which is never a bad thing, but I do think it's actually their least experimental album to date despite the concept behind it. It's solid though.

I actually like it more and more on each listen. Was not expecting this sound at all from them but I’m very pleasantly surprised.

 I've listened to this album here and there the past few weeks, but even though I know how cheesy the trumpets in Wondergan sound, everytime it starts it really puts me out of the mood and I ask myself how a tune from the Theme Hospital soundtrack ended up in my Spotify queue.

Now and again I buy a Plaid album. I bought this one and I really like it. Its very consistent.

The Jazz Cafe gig was last Friday. I've heard Plaid live a few times now, both great nights. Nice hearing some of Feorm Falorx loud, even the Mario Kart track.
