Music Visualizer in YouTube Video (Beaumont Hannant - Psi-Onyx - Autechre Mix)

Does anybody know what visualizer was used in this YouTube video? It's fairly simple, but I quite like how it fits the track. Would love to see a higher quality version of the video or find a way to re-create it. Some people have asked in the comments, but the responses seem to have disappeared. (It's a fairly old upload.)

I know this might be a long shot, but if there's anyone that might know, they're probably hanging around here... :wang: :mu-ziq:

Looks like Winamp maybe

Yes, that was my first thought as well, but I have watched a fair bit and I don't recognize this particular preset. Also, the popup with the song information in the beginning doesn't look like Winamp, but maybe that was added later.

Still, I love Winamp visualizations, maybe one day I will stumble across this one by chance...

Could also be iTunes. Don't know about today but that used to have a bunch of visualisers as well. Probably an old version that doesn't run on current computers...

Jackpot! From a Google image search it looks like "iTunes 8.0 Jelly Visualizer". Many thanks! I knew the distinguished WATMM crowd would come through... :catsalute:

Yes, I have been listening to a lot of Beaumont Hannant lately, which is probably why the video showed up in my YouTube recommendations.

And of course the remix here is especially brilliant... :music:

I have everything (and I mean EVERYTHING, on both vinyl and CD) Hannant has ever released under his own name and as YO3, and some of the side project releases as well. As GPR has dissolved and the rights have returned to artists, it would be nice for someone to find Hannant and get his material remastered and released in the digital domain.

Speaking of releasing things in the digital domain, I wish Apple wasn't Apple and released their old music visualization plugins as open source rather than just making them disappear.
