it's by Cronenberg's son you ignoramii

Antiviral and Possessor were both A+, this'll be good

oh but fuck Tim Hecker, hackfraud

idk, being Cronenberg's son he maybe should have considered other career options... now he's like the Hank Williams Jr of body horror

I saw it last week. It's not as good as Possessor. The central idea is good but it runs out of steam about halfway through.

Also, while there are quite horrid, graphic scenes, I'd mostly forgotten about them a few hours after seeing the film. Strangely unmemorable.

Also Robert Pattison passed on this. Just sayin.

overwrought heavyhanded rubbish. Like reading a fake suicide note written by a pretentious 13 yr old.

I've never made it all the way through ravedeath, terrible album

I'm like 20yrs older than you. I've forgotten more ambient than you've heard.

Sorry, it's bad.

I have faith in Brandon, hopefully the movie will be weird and wonderful

+1

that trailer is clearly a disservice to the film. on the other hand, it has 31 million views. so I guess watering down the whole story and laying it all out in artless easy-to-swallow pieces is how you get mass attention and praise. I also don't care for Mia Goth but that's not a dealbreaker.

sad that discussion of this movie has to be in this thread

It seems people either love or hate Tim Hecker.

But what about this soundtrack? Can someone who doesn't hate him weigh in?

None of his stuff after Harmony in Ultraviolet did much for me, but I really like everything up to it.
