i used this company for the one CD i've done and it was quality, easy process, good value. looks like they do doubles, triples, etc for reasonable pricing on small runs.

I had seen that but I was confused because the double disc options are listed on the main page but not in the detail pages. You need to call them to set it up, for some reason. Support guy said it's because it's more complicated.

They should set up an online ordering page for that... how hard could it be?

idk, but i remember getting in touch with their help desk as well and having a good experience. can’t ignore that sort of thing imo.

my CDs came out exactly as expected…actually selling them is a different challenge tho :wtf:

Yeah. I was thinking of giving many away, maybe asking local record shops if they wanted to sell them and just keep the money.

I'm collaborating with some other people on this album as well, so I thought they might like a keepsake and maybe a few to give away.

I've enver used Diskmakers myself, but they actually had a brick and mortar office near my college and their catalogs were all over.  The impression I had back then from people who HAD used them was that the quality was good but the prices were also on the high side.

It was a non issue for me, because back then their minimum order was something like $2200 for 1000 CDs (in 1999 money, too).

Yeah, I wouldn't want to get 1000. I'll have to see what they offer.
