Lee was one of the founders of FatCat Records (The shop, which spawned the label). He was instrumental in bringing the Detroit sound to the UK and influencing many other artists. He released records on Irdial, Fatcat, Plink Plonk, Peacefrog, Fragmented, B12, Delsin and his own 10th Planet and Fortun8 labels under several aliases, most notably In Sync and Insync vs Mysteron (with Chris Hartley & David Manuel).
