True it has been spotted before, but I don't know if video games count as 'AFX on TV' but on that note don't forget the Wipeout games soundtracks as well

One of the advertisements on the PCNE Chinese channel used to have tracks from 85-92 on it.

Oh and I once saw a porno with a fake version of come to daddy on it.

It was like the fake bed music you get on them c4 programs.

oh yeah, the ending of "Eight Millimeter" with Nicholas Cage, the character "Machine" anatagonist, like the head leader of this underground snuff film ring, is listening to "Come to Daddy" as Cage is sneaking up into his place to kill him.

LOL

i was just watching e4 and caught this pastiche/shameless video-and-all rip-off of...erm...aphex airlines, or ventolin, or something. maybe it's techno tetris:

Also i noticed a cover version of popcorn on the budweiser advert. richard must be making mad royalty ducats off that one!

and i don't know how to post youtube links

electronic music was invented long before those gay guys mentioned earlier

I think we were referring to electronic dance music - i.e. disco, house and techno. Not that you can't dance to Raymond Scott or something, but you get what I mean.

I was put on hold for some company, and aphex twin was the hold musak. Flim.

*BEST "ON HOLD" MUSIC EVER...

Indeed, companies using flim as on hold musak is the last thing I'd expect though, it's a lol

cliffs, girl/boy and i think rhubarb were all featured in the film "Manic" with joseph gordon levitt.

as well as some squarepusher here and there.

annoying though, cliffs is featured about 6 times in the duration.

SAW85-92 appears to have been given to a technician by some young guy to test the acoustics in a concert hall, on a BBC Docu about IQ-tests. Tha was playing for a few seconds. It wasn't used by the makers of the program and actually made me quite happy.

A Top Gear Episode 2 weeks ago featured the beginning of Windowlicker while they were showcasing some new Aston Martin GT car. You'd think they could use a more recent song. I know I shouldn't of expected another song, but any analord or tuss song would of been cool. Damn production crew.
