Live 124bpm hardware improvisation (dot mp3)

i've just joined :ok: so hello everyone!

This is the first time sharing my music to an audience. I get a real kick out of playing my kit live, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did recording it. I began making music about a month ago.

I'm using a TR626 (cackle!) to drive my gigantic FM synth (which is a TX81Z with a keyboard).

Cheap setup, but hopefully you'll find it rich in sonic hypnotique.

No post-recording edits, rehearsing or vague idea where it was headed when I began.

The length of the mp3 is the length of time I spent working on the track.

If you enjoy that, great - have a go on this one next...

Should we wish to move away from beard-scratching minimal and into a world of dark, emotive, funeral march electronica, have a listen to this...

This is what i recorded a few weeks ago when i learned that a very dear friend of mine had committed suicide. Had i plugged a 1/4" jack into my temple, this is what would've come out. This is the first track I ever recorded.

I am seriously looking forward to your responses. Thank you for reading and you have my immeasurable gratitude if you take the time to listen.

Ah, woops. That's our own hot-linking protection kicking in! I can't see an edit function so I'll repost...

i listened to "minimality" and "vintage jackets and basketball caps". sounds nice, oldschoolish and crisp. well, of course the sound quality does not really satisfy and its far too monotonous for home listening but there is some really interesting stuff happening.
