The key to making "glitchhop" is to actually use glitch, or dsp effects, post production to add cuts, filters, reverses, and stretching to create the "beats" that you want, otherwise it just sounds like a drummachine looping. The element you are lacking here, I would say, is percussion.

I just pulled "Ambient Glitchhop" out of my ass. I'm not trying to make any particular style of music, i just make what im feelin at the time, and to me the song sounded like mellow glitchy trip hop. So do you think the song itself actually needs work on the percussion or was that just a suggestion to make it more glitchy?

i like this. it definitely has a glitchy feel to. I'm digging the effects... sounds like the samples are walking through an electric storm. some of the vocal samples seemed out of place and startled the overall atmosphere of the track. Great use of pitch control.

A+ track, me thinks. post more.

Thanks! I think im going to ditch the second voice sample, people dont seem to like it too much and it was thrown-in anyways. It was an attempt to throw in an old-school rap vocal, but all the samples on the record i was using are too short.
