drum and bass for papa just because of delicious and subtle blend. jesus do those two tracks just do something to me. So powerful.

I never really got subtle blend myself. It seemed a bit tame after the rest of the album.

Delicious and Maker of All, however; that's a killer duo.

shimmering haze off tally ho! is my favorite vibert track of all time. but dnb4papa is my favorite album, yoseph a close 2nd.

ah, yeah, Tally Ho is also a superb album! as is D'n'B for Papa.

you can keep all his later/more recent stuff though. it hasn't connected with me like the old stuff did.

i listened to benefist lately, i own it on vinyl but never got many spins. it's good stuff and reminds me of lovers acid.

Have any faves off benefist?

It's one of my fav vibert albums. Shameless acid fuckery. I liked assid and patriotic acid myself.

rodulate?

Vibert/Simmonds - Rodulate.

They did two albums together, Rodulate and Weirs. I prefer rodulate myself. Rodulate was released in 2008 and weirs I think in 1993. I'm pretty sure they were recorded during the same sessions though.

^^One of mah favorites!!

I love Drum n' Bass for Papa... Classic amens with his unique brand of funk. I love the bass blasts on the title track.

Amazing tunes for that time... Keepin' it classy :music:
