whorgan is an approximation of falling asleep w/ease on a westbound commercial flight to chicago.

whorgan was the immediate pleaser, which sort of rendered it nil by repeated playback. 'cordial' still stands as a favorite. benefist track is dope

Why haven't I heard of this? Downloading from bleep now...

Glad he's gone hardware again. Much as I love Spac Hand Luke and Moog Acid, his software stuff always has a slightly "plastic" feel that hurts its longevity in my playlists...

Wish he'd do a hardware Spac Hand Luke release... that would be the tits...

one of my gripes about this album is that it does feel a little bit plastic... not so much an analogue vs digital thing, just in how ordered and measuredly it feels sometimes. a bit overlong too, there's a pretty good fun 40 minute acid record in here. with stuff like whorgan, electrip and benefist.

i just enjoy the more melodic sample-funk-acid stuff that vibert does (lovers acid), compared to this... in some ways this is very much stripped down.

Wow, the polysynth on this record sounds GORGEOUS.

I'm going to guess that it's a Jupiter 8, cos, there's a bit that sounds exactly like "I Want to Break Free"

Jupiter 8, Devil Fish, 808 - Sounds like a desert island rig to me.

Benefist is fucking wicked.

Better had be, I can only afford one thing this month so I've just ordered it off Boomkat (it's on sale, £6.99 down from £10.99). Woe betide you if I've wasted my money...
