the new album was made entirely in A major

A major what? A major city, recording studio, coffee chain ?

Are you saying that their new album will be released only in Starbucks like Paul McCartney's done.

A Major as in the Musical Key signature.

However I highly doubt this as alot of Boards of Canadas stuff sounds to me like it is A Tonal.

Chris H. recorded one track for Twoism, I believe.

recorded as in pushed 'record' on the tape machine or recorded as in one of the tracks is his?

In the same post, hex_official also comments on Chris H's contribution to Twoism:

Doesn't original version of Twoism say: Produced by, Recorded By,

Written-By - Chris Horne, Marcus Eoin, Michael Sandison ?

Re: the previous question by Smoothlab, see my previous post,

that is why the amendment was made!

(His previous post referenced is the one we discussed in an earlier topic in which he says all their recorded music was made solely by Mike & Marcus.)

Do you know which track? Why do you think that? I'm not second-guessing you, I'm really curious.

but if that's true, then why did Mark Garrett post this on the boc yahoo group:

All the music Boards of Canada have ever written or recorded, from way

back in the beginning, has been written by Mike and Marcus alone.

Mr. Garrett, can you clear up the confusion concerning twoism?

That's not what I meant by that - there are things I can say, and things I cannot - when I'm allowed to say something, then I will. Otherwise, I won't. Pretty simple, eh?

Hmmm..... that's interesting. If anyone digs up a source for this, please post it. I'd like to add this to the Wiki if it's true.

"300 tracks on the go"......some wouldnt fit certain projects because they are either way tooo electronic or too acoustic (and ofcourse some that dont even sound BOC at all, guess this new album will take a totally new direction for them)..I bet BOC could release a masterpiece every year if they put their heart and soul to it.

Maybe they could release more often and release albums that are around 45 min insted of 62..

They used to, but no bio has mentioned Chris H since 2001.

Regarding Melissa Juice, I've never heard anything about Chris H contributing to any work besides Twoism...
