Just set the number of “nocos” and the maximum length. Once complete, your chosen folder will be populated with all different types of weird nocos. I built this tool to algorithmically generate sample content for my live coding work in tidalcycles. Along with Kickblast (see prototype 1), you can easily build a synthesized percussion palette. I usually spend some time weeding out the good ones after generating them. The program (written in csound) creates an attack and a sustain portion for each noco. The pitch envelope, decay, length, filter envelope and waveform are all algorithmically generated. The attack voice and sustain voice are then summed. Yeah I bought all of the v3 ones previously (and have since paid for the v4 upgrades) but they were so fairly priced and useful that I don't really mind others can now get the joy of them for free !
