Shit fucking iLok... Well I just installed it and shit but Live didn't even recognized the VST so fuck it

Have you tried running Ableton in administrator mode - I've got a whole bunch of VST/i s that 'magically' reappeared when I did that.

I decide to give up. I still don't trust iLok...

A question... Well 2:

Is there a plugin that can pan different frequencies like individually?

Is there a plugin to achieve the same effect as Tim Hecker's piano, glitchy, grainy sounds?

I think both could be done using just Ableton's native effects -

1. Route the audio to multiple tracks, each with a narrow parametric EQ on it covering the frequencies you want panned in a certain way

2. You can get some way with using the granular delay. If you have the suite (and thus Max 4 Live) you can use the free Granulator plugin - https://www.ableton.com/en/packs/granulator/

thanks bro, I'll try it...

But is there something like that but VST, like for FL Studio? Btw don't think I'm asking because I can't search myself, but I just want opinions.

Again, sorry about my question... but I'm looking for a vst like a granulizer but with the capability of moving through the whole sample, not staying in the same place... Again, like Tim Hecker's piano stuff (grainy, glitchy) I love that effect.

Reaktor does that stuff really well, and you can use it as a vst

You're using Ableton right ? If so there's the free Granulator II by monolake -

MIDIMapperX is a VST plugin that allows you to map any MIDI Note On/Off or CC event to an arbitrary sequence of bytes. This allows you to send SysEx, MIDI Machine Control, or other custom message to any custom or non-standard MIDI device in your arsenal, from any DAW.

this is my referral-link, if u use this i can win free soundtoys plugins for life..

u only need a soundtoys and ilok acc, and the vst needs/installs ilok manager in order for it to work - no dongles
