BCM Posted January 14, 2008 Share Posted January 14, 2008 Thinking of buying one of these or something similar, anyone had any experience with one? you know i've got one of these don't you??? well, i've got a QY70 which is pretty much exactly the same.... it's fucking wicked man!! well good for sequencing other synths with and that and also quite good on it's own - good XG sounds on it. most of my new tunes (in my sig) are totally sequenced with one of these. get one man, they're well good. pcock Posted January 15, 2008 Share Posted January 15, 2008 nah my main reason for not using it is extreme laziness. only since i quit weed at new year have i found my self with the energy to spend hours fiddling with options and controls and working out new synths and fixing my hardware and sorting out sequencer troubles. ive actually had it for about a year and half, and apart from turning it on and having a look i just couldnt be arsed. i always buy things expecting to able to turn them on and just start getting the notes out of my head but the qy700 is not that kinda beast. laziness is also the reason ive still got it, even though im poor as shit now and left with a bunch of stuff i dont really use becuse ive got a decent audio interface and a sequencer and a top class PC.
