Guest am_airlab Posted July 22, 2008 Share Posted July 22, 2008 really doesn't do it for me. the melodic lines just clash, a lot, but not in any manner that makes musical sense to me. the first one didn't sound right with the amen to my ears, but the one after that sounded just fine. amen cutup is alright, not really standout, but it's not so boring after all. the main thing i'd work on addressing is the melodies. i can't tell what they're trying to say, at all. also, the starting synth sounds like a tweakbench preset...not a bad thing, but sound design is the most fun thing about this sort of stuff to me. i don't get the appeal of loading shittons of effects on stuff for the hell of it because it seems like it's just trying to hide something. i guess this sounds harsh, but keep at it. the structure isn't bad at all, just got to polish it and put some more time and thought into it.
