Amen Shitmix

really doesn't do it for me. the melodic lines just clash, a lot, but not in any manner that makes musical sense to me. the first one didn't sound right with the amen to my ears, but the one after that sounded just fine. amen cutup is alright, not really standout, but it's not so boring after all.

the main thing i'd work on addressing is the melodies. i can't tell what they're trying to say, at all. also, the starting synth sounds like a tweakbench preset...not a bad thing, but sound design is the most fun thing about this sort of stuff to me. i don't get the appeal of loading shittons of effects on stuff for the hell of it because it seems like it's just trying to hide something. i guess this sounds harsh, but keep at it. the structure isn't bad at all, just got to polish it and put some more time and thought into it.

This is really good.

That very first patch needs some... secret herbs and spices of some sort. Doesn't quite like up to the textures of the rest of the track or something.

I don't really like this (needs some serious work!) but i just wanted to say - whats with the random vibert acid line that comes in at 1.36?! Can't remember what tune its from but its definitely a vibert line isnt it?

sounds good (although i'm listening to it through laptop speakers while sitting outside in the wind, for various reasons)
