patternoverlap Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Searched through the backlog of releases here and didn't find it, so: This was apparently released in 2007, but I have just acquired it, and it is really good, so I thought I would mention it. To me it has a similar feel to the Analord releases. Definitely recommended if you are into that sort of thing. The new CD by Not Breathing mastermind Dave Wright - created entirely on Laquarto (the modular synth) and Perky (the drum machine) as the only sound sources. Recorded live direct to stereo mix with no overdubs and no outboard gear. This is one warm sounding CD - a true testament to the brilliance of Not Breathing and the Laquarto and Perky synths. I threw it on my iThing last week for a revisit after playing the very good The Black Old Pueblo, but haven't played it yet. Maybe today's the day.
