if i could figure out how to transfer 8mm reel to the computer i could upload a shitload of nfboc stuff, pete standing alone included, that i pinched from a school my wife worked at. they were cleaning out the a/v section of the library and there was a box of at least 40-50 reels, mainly nfboc stuff. sadly some of it has water damage and its unwatchable, but theres a lot of good vingrettes in decent shape

You're going to need a Telecine machine to do the transfer - basically a projector with video out that can then be hooked to a breakout box or input on a video capture card on a PC.
