His music shares a lot of common ground with the Ghost Box label (his most recent album was mastered by Jon Brooks, aka The Advisory Circle). Similar reference points; Edwardian/Victorian weird fiction and ghost stories etc. I can't describe the sound very well, but I suppose it's a bit like the Focus Group's sound collages, but with more emphasis on beats.
