I've always been wanting to make this kind of vibez but haven't really done it, due to the ambition seemingly required (plus the right sounds to begin with). but I think this was a step in the right direction. Guest wasps Posted May 11, 2009 Share Posted May 11, 2009 Imho this worked better as a slower piece, with the lazy break in the beginning. I would have layered acoustic drum loops on top of that to build a sense of depth. The double time break was dry and sharp and its prominence took away the intensity the intro hinted was coming.
