Still waiting for Shawarma pizza to trend.

Oh, that's definitely a thing here and has been for years. Pretty good for late night nasty ass pizza.

One of the major achievements of my life has been to have baptized my personal favorite pizza type, the delicious ''hot banana peppers'' + ''pineapple'' pizza with a name.

I called it: ''Hot n Sweet''

The local pizza restaurant i always ordered it from even adopted the name and pizza type on their menu a few years ago.

If you never tried it you def should.

pierogi pizza and butter chicken are two of the oddest pizza trends here... although both are surprisingly good most of the time.  Many of the pizza places here are run and staffed by people of Indian descent, which may account for it.  Or it could be the infamous naan pizzas from the Mint that started it.  Those are delicious af.  Butter chicken poutine is also superior to regular poutine.

*no idea where the pierogi pizza trend came from.  that's just a fucked up idea that works better than it ought to.

Home made Naan pizzas are fuken delicious. Naan is the supreme bread. It's so versatile and delicious.

Nothing is superior to the classic poutine tho.

Would be down to try a butter tofu poutine tho. Might try to make one homemade.

It's been a while...

Last night I made a test pizza with mushroom thaht had been fried in lots of garlic, lemon, salt, and pepper and ricotta, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella. Before putting it in the oven I put some honey on it so it would caramelize in the oven. Once it came out I added some fresh lemon sezt and a bit more honey.
Turned out okay, but it could have used a bit more of everything.

After that I made
one with salsiccia, mozzarella, parmesan, red onion, and when it came out of the oven I added some truffel oil.
