Can someone help me?

I'm trying to get the vocals to sync up, but they just don't fit. I'm struggling and I was hoping someone could tell me why.

The thing is, the last 3 seconds (6 seconds on wards) they seem to sync up, but the rest of it doesn't.

So annoying.

Thanks in advance!

Oh, I've attached two versions because if you can put some rap vocals over the clean version of the track it would help me a lot to see what I'm doing wrong.

the last bit (which is the same as the first bit) comes in on roughly the second beat of a bar instead of the first

cut it and move it so it comes in on the same beat as the first one?

Hm, done that & still doesn't sound right.. I been playing with it for about 15 minutes.. can't get anywhere.

I did think that it was because when the bass comes on it kinda blurs it, so I then landed some vocals on the beat but it didn't help.

The tiny bit you posted sounds fine to me. Just sounds like the vocalist is moving around the beat a little, not like it's out of synch.

Man, try synching up a Marvin Gaye acapella sometime >.<

The track it's from has a shit beat anyway.. maybe that's why it's not sounding synchronised.

So, anyone better at music than me wanna put some rap vocals over the top to make it sound like it should? (in sync)?

I'd be very grateful.

Yeah, if you have the track lined up right with the tempo in your DAW, you can just cut some regions and then move them onto the beat.

Assuming, of course, he stays consistent throughout.

I did the same with a robot that spells the alphabet in a lo-fi techno tune I called Robotechnic.
