Yeah, i've been getting well into the stuff Subtle have been putting out.

Only i ordered this a fortnight ago and still no sign.

Are you connected with the label or something Eriksson?

I ordered this too, both the four track vinyl EP and the CD Album. I only got the vinyl EP though - apparently the CD album has been delayed. Saw Code (the guy who runs Subtle Audio) talking about it on another forum, this is what he had to say:

"the release has been exclusively licenced to a uk label, as a result release date postponed until autumn 09, more details to follow soon"

So it seems that another (bigger?) label has got involved with this release. I hope it comes out soon... I'm really getting into the tunes I've got so far.

in terms of quality (haven't heard em yet but macc & dgohn tracks never upset) , i wouldn't be surprised if it was rephlex

the actual stlye has me a bit puzzled though..wouldn't have thought rephlex + drumfunk, cool if true

already posted this in the new aphex album thread, but check out Macc's 3rd post here:

Interesting, but if Rephlex have anything to do with it i will literally eat my computer.

It'll probably be Bassbin, Interspective or someone like that.

Afx is indeed a fan of Subtle, can't blame him

Bassbin are now pretty much a defunct label (as far as I know), Inperspective haven't done anything in ages - and subtle audio is pretty much more sucessful than Inperspcetive these days. Most of those drumfunk/edits/drum and bass labels are also too small to put out albums aswell (unfortunatley).

Anyway.. Mike P, in a thread about a future 0=0 release on planet mu, has pretty much confirmed it by passing on his congrats to dgoHn - it's over on the subvert central forums

not sure how he knows, but I'm sure he is at least in contact with those who would know.

all very cryptic i must say!

still can't see Rephlex putting dgoHn out though, that would be far too sick

had both of those for a few months now. the vase track from the dgohn one is being played out by aphex all the time... from the various recordings and youtube videos I've seen anyway.

loving this release btw. cannot wait for the album!! :)

Hmm! The conjure up a pretty nice spastic beatfest. I like this "drumfunk" stuff so far.
